"The owners were very sweet and accommodating. The room was great. The heater was noisy, but I closed the bedroom door and put my earplugs in. The handle on the shower was hard to operate. I would suggest more lighting going down the stairs to my car. But overall, I thought the place was charming and saw a doe and her FAWN in the morning. It also would’ve been nice to have some ice in the refrigerator."

"This place is absolutely perfect. The only complaint we have is there were no outdoor lights out front when we had to take oir digs out at night "

"Excellent location. Away from town but very short drive to restaurants and grocery. You could hear the sound of the surf from the room. Short but steep walk to the beach. Owners were very helpful when I had a problem with my car. An excellent stay. Would highly recommend."

"We enjoyed our stay but had to cut it short for personal reasons. We appreciated the personal touches provided by the owner, but would have liked more specific directions to get to the house, which was off the street in an alley with only a mailbox across the street to identify the house number. Very quiet neighborhood behind an elementary school, would stay there again."

"This home in arcata was perfect. Close enough to walk everywhere in arcata, not only that but just a short trip to Trinidad or eureka. 5 minute walk to downtown arcata and farmers market with all the shops, 4 minute walk to the Finnish hot tubs also. The home was very cozy, clean and the bedding was very comfortable. Had everything we needed for the days we stayed. There were plenty of bath towels and the water pressure in the shower was awesome! "The rooms were very clean and spacious and well priced! Wasn’t sure how to use the breakfast voucher would’ve been nice to have had that explained a little better but loved the idea of them. It was just a bit confusing when we went to get breakfast on how to use them…."
