"Tres beau chalet bien aménagé fonctionnel parfait pour 8, sur 3 étages , pratique pour des espaces indépendants Petit bémol sur la literie ( un lit double auquel il manque de nombreuses lattes, un canapé lit qui grince énormément ) Autre bémol indépendant du chalet , la fréquence des navettes , toutes les heures , limitent et contraignent les accès aux stations ( pas facile avec enfant en bas age à l'ESF mais faisable ! ) Mais super séjour quand même !!"

"The Chalet is just below a lift into Montalbert. It is wonderfully appointed; the ground floor has a double bedroom with an ensuite and a bunk room with a huge luxury shower room. The first floor has an open plan kitchen, lounge with a large table, balcony and the best alpine views. We loved sharing meals and chores here. "Le chalet est : . vétuste (salle de bain avec les joints jaunis, table de nuit cassée, vieux meubles, équipement ménagé ancien ,etc.. ) . aucune chaise longue pour la terrasse . les abords n'étaient pas dégagés (une entreprise à dû venir pour faire l'entretien) . la literie est de mauvaise qualité . une nouvelle résidence a été construite juste derrière le chalet, ce qui lui fait perdre l'intérêt de sa situation. "We have just returned from Les Contamines. There were 2 families (4 adults and 4 children) and the space was excellent. The children particularly enjoyed the table football and table tennis. The communal space in the kitchen, lounge and dining area was large enough to cater for all of us . "Super cozy and comfortable chalet. Great place to sit at fireplace after long day of skiing. Ski-in/out - 30seconds to chair lift hard to find a chalet any closer. Very welcoming and helpfull hosts. We had a great stay. Thanks"

"We had a great week. The chalet is really close to the lifts which take you up to the La plagne ski area but you can also really easily cross to Les arcs. Montchavin is low so I don’t think the nursery slope in front of the chalet is often open but when it is you could ski almost to the door! Village is small but has a few restaurants (including the one run by the host - La bovate- which had delicious food!), small supermarket, bakery and ski hire places - everything you need unless you need...

"We had a wonderful time in Chalet L’orbeye. We are a family of five with 3 teenagers so plenty of space. A week in August was not long enough! The views from the property are spectacular and we were able to hike & bike directly from the chalet. We regularly played paddle in St Bon and went to both Bozel and Le Praz lakes. We road cycled and hired bikes from Le Praz for mountain biking. We also managed a long walk from the Vanoise National Park. We were blessed with hot weather all week...

"The property is cosy and very characterful. We found it a bit 'tired' and in need of some freshening up, for example the kitchen equipment and crockery, table cloth, etc. It was disappointing that some of the basics were not provided such as rubbish bags, some loo rolls. The ski-lift was very quaint (with a very friendly and helpful attendant - Lindy) but it was more than 200m away from the chalet (about 400m) and it would have been helpful to know the opening times in advance in order to help...

"This is a beautiful apartment with fabulous views. Florian was so helpful, as when we managed to book the week the village swimming pool was shut, he kindly emailed the next nearest pool to check they were open and get the timetable for us. Lovely touch of delicious apple and pear juice plus wine. Cannot recommend enough!"

"Chalet Pierra Menta is a beautiful chalet in a great location. We were a party of 14 adults and 1 child and there was plenty of space for us all. The rooms were comfortable and the chalet very well equipped with the ground floor ski/boot room, sauna and self catering equipment. Because this gorgeous chalet, with all the resources you need, is in the most breathtaking position, with views all across the mountains & many ski stations. "The chalet was perfect for a big group of 11 men (and room for more!), 5 minute walk from La Roche ski lift. There is a bar and ski hire at the bottom of the lift, although no shop, so we drove up to Plagne centre each morning. Communication with Audrey is exceptional, she is extremely attentive and answers your queries quickly. The living room is great for communal dining and evening entertainment (we played lots of cards). The Olympic bobsleigh is a short walk up the hill."
