3/5 Okay
"Reception service on arrival could have been better...one guest being dealt with ahead of me who then went to get something from his car or somewhere. No communication with me or "sorry please bear with me". Nothing. This guest's wife then comes back in and it takes 10 minutes to deal with her before i am dealt with. No apology or even 'sorry for the wait'. Pretty poor.
Room was ok but was told that it has an adjoining door to another room and that 'if i keep it closed, the other guests can't get in!' Very reassuring! Keycard operated door had a weird way of locking - if you weren't careful it wasn't secure.
Decor in the Hallway was peeling off the wall and carpet was marked quite badly.
Positives: Very good spread at breakfast. Good shower in pretty clean room with large fridge ( always a bonus). Location is great: 5 minutes to train station; 5 minutes to town; 10 minutes to the old town. Very good value for money just a couple of little things let it down..."
