"Finding Era Conte Hotel was so fortuitous. It was in the most enchanting setting with a majestic church on a hill in the distance overlooking the small town. The hotel was situated directly below this hill facing the church and this spectacular view is what we saw outside our large panoramic window. "This is a nice hotel that is a 5 minute walk to the old city. We paid extra for a room with a kitchenette which was convenient for keeping our breakfast things, making coffee and keeping our beers cold. There is a grocery store on the same road as the hotel, on the way to the old city. There is also free parking in a lot 2 blocks behind the hotel. It backs onto the castle grounds. There are two decent restaurants near the side entrance to the Cathedral and several more behind the Cathedral that have tables outside in a big sunny plaza. The staff at the hotel were really nice and helpful."
