"Our stay was towards the end of the season: September and service stopped after lunch until 18.00 when the bar re-opened. However, there were plenty of cafes and bars on the seafront to take advantage. Built to represent an ocean liner there were plenty of long corridors and stairs, so if you wish to test your fitness here is the opportunity. Food in the buffet restaurant was very good. "All the staff were very friendly and helpful The manager/restaurant manager was brilliant and gave us ideas for trips. Hotel is tired which was reflected in the price but we were upgraded to breakfast, lunch and dinner which was fantastic as the food was brilliant. Our room wasn’t cleaned during our 4 night stay but this wasn’t a problem as we didn’t spend any time in the room although AC would have been good. The area is stunning and the people are great so overall a brilliant experience "

"The location is good however the place is in very poor condition. Everything is very old and run down. The selection for breakfast is poor. Our stay was way over priced for what we got. They don’t clean the rooms or leave any cleaning products. They don’t give you pool towels. The common areas are old and dirty. Overall is is very expensive for what you get."

"Arrived earlier and sent out at 35'C despite rooms available. I came back as indicated at 4 pm. Room allocated dirty briefly not made ready. After insisting another room was provided. Staff arrogant and not helpful but not in purpose. They are like that by nature I suppose, as no apologise given."

"This was our second visit to this hotel. Previously we came in a summer ,but this visit was on the last day of Bordeaux Xmas market. The hotel is situated on the tram line which you can buy tickets at the machine or on the app. To get into centre takes about ten mins. Across from hotel is the river which you can walk into Bordeaux with lots of restaurants and shops. A lot shut in the winter, but definitely worth a nice walk.
