"Casa Matidia was a real surprise for us. A wonderful surprise. The photographs on VRBO don’t do it justice. The house is beautiful, magnificently furnished, and equipped with everything you might need. Stefano and his family were present at our arrival and welcomed us warmly, providing a much-appreciated welcome pack. "Hotel is feeling a bit aged, however, great stopover on the way to Calabria. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast needs some more fresh fruit & cold cuts (ie. Salami), however, still a very good hotel & I would definitely stay there again. Thank you guys!"

"The hosts is amazing and friendly. We had no issues with our check in or anything during our stay. She gave us recommendations for some local sites to see and they were each better than what we could have imagined. This is perfectly located down by the old district and waterfront. We walked along the sea and looked at the ships while enjoying the local culture. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy life in Gaeta! "
