Very nice location, warm and a good location to venture out from.

For snorkeling, would recommend staying in a hotel in Tala Bay closer towards Aqaba as this hotel had ripped out their reef. Didn't have time, but heard that taking a speedboat over to Taba in Egypt is easy and well worth it for snorkeling/diving.
