This is a comfortable, dual-level, family town home situated 1 block from the beach at Rio Del Mar … just far enough to feel peacefully apart from the crowds, but an easy amble to the beach. This popular beach runs south of Santa Cruz and boasts miles of sand and a variety of restaurants. There is also a shopping center with a major grocery store; sundries and hardware store and other shops and restaurants nearby. A 2 minute walk takes you to the Seacliff State Park and Beach with BBQ and picnic areas, fishing pier and walking path.

This furnished vacation home has vaulted ceilings; tile and carpeted floors; large, open floor plan; and its own private deck. The secluded deck is a wonderful spot to relax and listen to the ocean. The kitchen has a bar counter with bar stools and a separate family style dining table and tiled counter tops.

Linens are included at no extra charge. Stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, toaster and blender are all there to make you feel at home during your stay (plates, silverware and cookware provided).

This place is great. It is accurately described, close to the beach, and a great walking/running trail. This is the second time we have stayed! It is clean and fully furnished with comfortable beds. We loved being able to sit out on the upstairs deck and enjoy breakfast.

Very happy with our stay. House was clean, lots of towels, hot water, well stocked kitchen. Lots of thoughtful comfort stuff. Dogs loved walking on the beach 1 block away. Owner is very responsive and helpful if needed. Nice to sit on the balcony off the master bedroom in the sun and read. 3 restaurants and store right handy.

Thoroughly delightful stay
The Beachside Aptos condo is a delightful place to stay. Location is ideal, being only a block from a gorgeous, fine sand beach, Rio Del Mar, which is fine for boogie boarding, long romantic walks, or strolling with your poochie. The condo is well appointed, with visitors’ comfort in mind. We cooked great meals, relaxed on the patio and upstairs deck, and enjoyed local restaurants. We look forward to returning to this lovely, light, airy condo soon.

Perfect Beach Vacation
I have been staying here for my beach vacation every summer with my son. We love the location, just a quick walk to Rio Del Mar Beach. Walk a little further to Sea Cliff State Beach. Great places to eat near by. Pixie Deli and Venus Restaurant and Bakery. A short drive to Santa Cruz Beach Board Walk. The cottage is very comfortable, clean and well stocked with everything you need. I always look forward to this home away from home.

We loved this spot!
The apartment is perfect for a family of four. It’s a block from the beach. I spent several hours with the little one playing in the sand on a sunny winter day. Uber works great in the area, if you feel like having a glass of wine before bbq at Sid’s Smokehouse.

Wonderful little townhouse right next to a great dog friendly beach
We had a great week-end in Aptos, the owner was very responsive and accommodating to our needs. Everything worked and was well documented, down to the details like labels on light switch and a very handy drawner full of practical things you may have forgotten (toothbrush, tissues, what a great concept!). But most important is the locations, a few steps from a great beach at Aptos, a large, dog and kids friendly beach perfect for our family. We will gladly stay there again.

Perfect Proximity to Beach
Very clean, well maintained, small row style condo just one block from the beach! Everything that is needed for 2-4 people. Perfect for our family of two adults and two school age children. Street parking is a challenge, but there is a reserved spot in the back of the condo complex for the specific unit.

Beachside Aptos review
Exceptionally clean, tidy, and comfortable condo. It was easy to relax in this well stocked, organized unit, as host has planned well for guests enjoying either a short or an extended stay. Located in a super quiet neighborhood, this unit is a very short (2 min) easy walk to the beach. With windows open at night, guests can hear the gentle sound of ocean waves upon the beach. All communication with host was excellent. Would definitely recommend this unit and hope to plan a return visit.

Awesome location & home!
We had a fabulous time at the beach house. Location was perfect, no need to load up in the car-walking distance to great beaches! House was clean and well stocked with beach gear, basic kitchen needs, and comfortable furniture. Owner is lovely and takes great pride in her home and making sure all is well for your visit. She spent time on the phone with me reviewing the area and fun options for our kids! It was a treat to be so close to the ocean. Thank you!

Third time stay!
We have stayed at this place now for three October vacations and we love it. It feels like home with just a short "around the corner" walk to our favorite beach. This time we had our new family dog and it went very well with the convenience of the hose off area. Pixie's is a great place to eat and the Café on the beach is wonderful to get a steaming hot cup of coffee before a beach stroll. This is a very comfortable and convenient place to get away, and feel like you blend right in. :) Thank you!
