This splendid Villa for 11/13 people is the ideal rental for holidays in Crete with family or friends. Villa Maria Luna is located in the heart of a pretty garden, high up, with a beautiful sea view, on the bay of Georgioupoli. The beaches of Giorgioupolis and the village are only a 5-minute drive away. The Villa has 5 bedrooms, including 3 bedrooms with double beds and 2 bedrooms with 2 or 3 single beds, and 2 bathrooms. The swimming pool is spacious, with a pool house and adjoining bathroom. The living room opens onto a terrace and the garden, and has 2 very comfortable sofa beds for 1 person. You can therefore accommodate up to 13 people in this beautiful villa. The kitchen is large and opens onto the terrace and the swimming pool, with a large barbecue and a small outdoor kitchen. Perfect stay
We had a wonderful week there with a couple friends! The property is very clean, the view is fantastic and it’s located far from any neighbors, but still close enough to everything important if you have a rental car.

Fantastic stay at
The property was just right for us with the lake one way up the road and the beach and the town the other. We walked a lot which was hot and sweaty but is was doable as the the kids are all young adults. The property had everything that we needed and Eleni was very helpful. I would thoroughly recommend staying in Villa Maria Luna

Wonderful stay
We had a great stay. Great house and large pool. Nice rooms and bath rooms. Kitchen equipment sufficient (the number of pots and pans is a little too small for the large number of people). Good contact with Pascale before of our journey as well with Eleni during our stay. All in all everything was fine. Only small things to criticise: - Outside lights did not light up in the dark (critical because of safety reasons when coming home; they light up in the morning but not in the evening) - air conditioning in living room did not work - light bulb in bathroom was defect and it took a long time to replace the light bulb (3 days, almost half of our stay). The bathroom was the smallest and darkest one. So without light the room could not be used. Nevertheless, only small things. In sum a great stay in the villa. Thanks a lot.

Wir haben uns in der Villa Maria Luna alle sehr wohl gefühlt! Das Haus, Grundstück und Inventar innen und außen ist sehr großräumig und großzügig ausgestattet. Es war alles picobello sauber und der Swimmingpool wurde einmal wöchentlich gereinigt. Die Waschmaschine lief einwandfrei, so dass wir auch nach Bedarf z.B. die angemieteten Handtücher waschen konnten. Was fehlte, waren lediglich Geschirrtücher, die wir zum Glück dabei hatten. Die Lage des Hauses ist optimal. Man braucht zwar ein Auto aber damit ist man dann schnell in den Regionen Chania und Rethymno, wo wir viele Wanderungen gemacht haben. Georgioupoli mit seinen Sandstränden ist ein hübscher Ort. Besonders zu empfehlen ist das kleine Café/Lädchen am Hafen, das die deutsche Angelika mit ihrem Mann betreibt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder in der Villa Maria Luna Urlaub machen ☀️

Wonderful setting
Villa Maria-Luna is a spacious and beautifully located house. We were a party of 7 and were all accommodated easily. The views are wonderful and the pool area is great for fun and relaxation. The Villa is within 5 minutes drive from beautiful beaches, the town centre and the lake, and around a 30 minute stroll to the centre of Georgiopolis. The area of Kavros where other supermarkets, restaurants and shops is also only a 5 minute drive. Check in was easy with the Villa representative Eleni was easy and communications with Pasquale the owner were swift and helpful. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend this Villa to any group. The only improvements I could suggest would be that the kitchen was a little better equipped. Although we had enough of everything if this Villa was at full capacity (x12) more pots/pans/cups/utensils would be necessary.

Great family holiday in Mathes
We had a wonderful time at Villa Maria Luna in Mathes. I was suprised to see that the house was even better than I had expected. Everything went smooth, from check in to check out. We went in the beginning of July and the garden was stunning. Observe that you need to rent a car if you want to travel further or going to town (Georgiopolis). The surrounding was calm and relaxing and we enjoyed our stay so much.

Très bon séjour dans une belle maison
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison, la villa est grande avec des espaces extérieurs agréables, il y a une belle vue, le village et la plage de Georgioupoli proches sont agréables. La localisation est assez centrale pour rayonner dans l'île. Pascale nous a donné de bons conseils sur le environs proches. Seul petit défaut mais qui n'est pas dramatique : il manquait plusieurs équipements par rapport à ce qui était indiqué dans l'annonce. Mais je crois que la mise à jour a dû être faite. Je recommande cette belle villa.

Belle maison au milieu des oliviers
Belle maison, vaste et confortable, dans un environnement très calme. Les extérieurs, notamment autour de la piscine, sont très agréables, avec beaucoup de plantes fleuries. Les propriétaires, tout comme Eleni qui se charge de l'accueil, sont charmants. Nous avons apprécié les plages environnantes, accessibles en 5 minutes de voiture. Si elles ne sont pas les plus spectaculaires de Crète, elle ne sont pas bondées car très larges (les jours de vent, on pourrait se croire à l'océan) et les montagnes environnantes dessinent un joli cadre.

Tolle Villa in schöner Hanglage mit Meerblick
Das großzügig aufgebaute Haus hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es ist sehr sauber und in sehr gutem Zustand. Die 3 Bäder, die Küche und die Zimmer machen einen neuen Eindruck. Man fühlt sich in dem stilvollen Haus und schönen Garten sehr wohl. Der Pool hat eine angenehme Größe und wirkt sehr gepflegt. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin und Verwalterin war jeweils unkompliziert möglich und beide haben prompt auf unsere Anfragen reagiert- dafür an Eleni und Pascale nochmals ein herzliches Dankeschön. Wir haben vor, bald wieder in die Villa Maria Luna zu kommen.
