"Our five days at the apartment was supposed to be rainy but ended up being warm and sunny every day. We loved being able to use the pool and the room was spacious and newly remodeled. The hosts were very accommodating and I enjoyed conversing with them. They provided me with tips on the area too. There was a nice bakery and a cortina restaurant a few minutes walk away. The pretty garden that surrounded the house was an extra bonus."

"Wir waren mit Freunden für 4 Nächte in dem Häuschen untergebracht und waren alle begeistert. Das Haus ist sehr schön dekoriert, sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Wenn etwas nicht vorhanden ist kann alles in Locarno (10km bergab) gekauft werden. Ascona ist auch eine sehenswerte Stadt die man unbedingt besuchen muss, wenn man dort ist. Am "Hausberg" gibt es tolle Wanderwege die zu wunderschönen Aussichtsplattformen führen (im Haus gibt es Wander-/Fahrradkarten). Wir wussten einmal...

"It was lovely! Nothing extravagant, but everything was there what you might need and everything works (kitchen, shower, etc.). Rudolf is a very attentive host, the apartment wis super clean, kitchen has all utensils needed. The hiking paths are in front of the house and it was super quiet at night. Me and my puppy Olivia were happy!"

"We were two couples and loved that it has two bathrooms, comfortable beds, air conditioning, washer and dryer, and beautiful views of Lake Maggiore. Grocery stores are close as well as the Grand Piazza. We were lucky to be there for the outdoor music festival called Moon and Stars. Great food, and people. Not alot of English speaking people, but our phone translator worked great. We fell in love with Locarno and this condo."

"5 stars! The Base is extremely close to the main train station and the gondola, all a few steps out the door. The apartment was pleasantly clean and had a ski room to store my gear.
