Bugs, Flies, and Incompetent Staff
This place is new but it’s very poorly run and will only get worse. The staff is just a bunch of young kids who haven't been trained properly, they don't really know what they are doing. I’d get lots of annoying calls and knocks asking when I wanted breakfast the next day. No one knows what is going on or how to run a hotel. The hotel itself is on the other side of town from the historic area. They offer free bikes but it's still a bit far. There also a lot of dead bugs that appear around the room. The wifi barely worked from my room.
The breakfast is nice but the room they serve it in is infested with flies and they don’t do anything about it. Upon check out they charged me for breakfast even though I thought it was included and they never mentioned any charge. They also charged me extra for a juice after my original one got a fly in it. It’s completely unprofessional that they never mentioned they’d be a charge for the second juice. After they extorted extra money out of me the front desk guy didn’t even bother to say thank you or help me out to the tuk tuk. They don’t care which makes sense since several times I saw the staff asleep. Overall I can imagine this place becoming even worse given the untrained staff and lack of maintenance. They don’t care.
