"A solid choice in Anuradhapura that caters to tour groups, especially. Nice staff, clean and basic rooms, with nice little balconies, many of which overlook the terrific pool. Would recommend avoiding the meh dinner buffet and order off the menu instead. Well located, and staff made a great recommendation for local driver and guide."

"Disappointing Stay – Not as Advertised This hotel looked great in the Expedia photos, but upon arrival, it was a completely different story—false advertising at its finest. The property looked nothing like the pictures, and mosquitoes were a major issue throughout our stay. Right away, we encountered problems with the hot water in our room. After multiple calls to the front desk and waiting for maintenance, it took hours to fix, and even then, we only had lukewarm water. The entrance was dirty, the towels were old, and there were no amenities provided. The bed was okay, but that’s about the only positive thing I can say. Definitely not worth the stay."

"I really enjoyed my stay at Kutumbaya. The staff were really friendly and helped organise a safari and tour of the ancient ruins for me. The food was great, particularly the Sri Lankan breakfasts. The WiFi and air con were good and I even found some Premiership football on the TV. I’d definitely stay here again!"
