This beautiful apartment (" Bord de mer") has just been completely renovated (January 2017), with all modern conveniences. The AC has also been added throughout the whole property.
The stylish travertine floor, the provencal style furnishing, the comfortable beddings and towels, the location right in the centre of the old town (one doesn't need a car anymore) make it truly magical giving you a true Provencal south of France feeling.
It is located right in front of the sea with a view over of the marina and the Alps in the background, on the second floor making it very central and offering a place to relax after the noise of the city.
The apartment's layout and its size (75 square meter/800 square foot) will provide you with ample space to relax and to enjoy your own privacy. Ideally suited for two couples or a family with children, the two bedrooms sleep 4 guests comfortably. Both bedrooms have 2 mattresses connected together making it a king size bed or 2 single beds since all have single duvets, . The finest Egyptian cotton linen has been chosen for your comfort and pleasure. A practical bathroom with separate toilets has a Provencal style. Each guests will be provided with a set of 2 high quality towels: hands and bath towels are provided.
The sitting room is very large and has a fire place with many candles, antiques, modern art, a large sofa, 2 large armchairs and dim-able lights - a perfect place to relax before or after exploring Antibes and surrounding towns.
The kitchen with a Lacanche stove has been designed and equipped to enable you to cook a wonderful meal.
Naturally Bord de mer has modern independent heating in each room, including the bathrooms; free high speed wifi; flat screen TV, DVD player, DVD library, books, a washing machine, microwave, a Lacanche Hob, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster and dishwasher.
This property is located in the heart of the old town of Antibes, the most exciting town on the sea in the Cote d'Azur, in walking distance from many attractions like the Picasso Museum, the Antibes cathedral...
The neighbourhood boosts many nice restaurants/brasseries (we have recommendations!), organic stores, patisseries and the condo is located 2 minutes from the old Provencal market (voted one of the 10 best markets in the world!) where one can buy local delicacies, fruits and vegetables, scrumptious ice-creams and other delicacies.
The closest train station is located 10 minutes away from bord de mer. You can then visit Monaco (30 minutes by train), Nice (20 minutes), Cannes (20 minutes) and other smaller towns on the seafront.
Many stores are renting bicycles that can be rented daily or weekly and are a great way to explore Antibes. Buses stops are within walking distance.
The airport can easily be reached by rented car or reserved cars: you will receive all information you need when you book the apartment.
A manager will welcome you, show you around the property, give you the keys and provide you with valuable tips. He is of course available in case of emergency or for any questions you may have for the entire stay.
For guests who would like to come with a car, the nearest parking is located less than 100 meters from the flat and is called: "Parking pre des pecheurs". It offers weekly deals at 61 Euros when you can come in and out of the parking at any time during the day. Please contact your manager to have more details.
Whilst a balcony currently is attached to the property, and following the restrictions imposed from the town hall, it is now forbidden to step onto the balcony at any cost.
