Worthy if repairs to plumbing made - Call Hotel
The service was very good. Zafir was very friendly and extremely attentive - accommodating all our requests. This
man never sleeps it seems and worked hard to keep us satisfied. We originally requested one of the rooms with bathtub and fridge and this was granted. Unfortunately there was black mold growing around the tub and the smell was unbareable so we could not use it. We brought this to Zafir's attention to which he promptly offered 2 other rooms, one of which was an upgrade to a higher floor room with terrace (no tub but no mold at least). We chose this and while we appreciated the upgrade, unfortunately the smell coming from drain was unbearable also. After the first room, we were informed there would be someone to remedy the mold problem coming in the week we were leaving. (apparently affecting more than just our original room). We loathed leaving because this is a nice, usually quieter character hotel in the middle of a VERY busy district. Further we really appreciated the attentiveness and care
of cleaning staff and the breakfast hostess "Gülsüm".. super nice, down to earth and serving a good traditional turkish breakfast. Recommend emailing, calling about mold/plumbing to see if its been resolved and - if so - you will be glad you stayed here!
