"Great hotel for visiting Coimbra. The staff is really nice, helpful and available. The parking across the street is fantastic. I wouldn’t bring a car into Coimbra without a plan for parking. The breakfast is great. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Highly recommend."

"We enjoyed our stay at CBR boutique hotel. The room was beautifully decorated on a book theme, even in the toilet and shower stall. Kudos to the cleaning staff as everywhere was spotless, especially with all the nooks and crannys present in the stone carved books. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the room very quiet at night, especially considering we were overlooking the suare. Marc on reception was very helpful and courteous. Unloading luggage was a challenge as we missed the small area we could park the car to unload, with construction going on in the street. So we carried on to the free carpark, directly across the bridge from the hotel, about a 5 minute walk. We were not crazy about the open bathroom with glass doors on the toilet. May feel awkward if sharing with friends. The hotel is in a great location, close to all areas of interest and we would definitely recommend it for a stay in Coimbra."
