Kostas is a great host. He knows the history of the island and gives great suggestions as to where to eat and what to see. We will definitely visit Syros again and we will book this hotel again. "

"Beautiful old building, allowing you to experience what an old “archontiko” would be like. Perfect location for us, but there are some steps that cannot be avoided. Staff are simply wonderful and incredibly kind. With a few simple changes this place can become exceptional. Our A/C unit was pretty old and was not doing a good enough job. Room amenities could be improved. A bottle of water in the fridge for example would be very much appreciated."

"This was the worst experience I've ever had. I had a long day and I just wanted to lay down but by the time I got the Iliada Rooms, no one was there. I called every phone number listed outside the building for an entire hour. I even had a random person on the street try to help. I ended up walking down the street to find somewhere else to sleep. This experience almost ruined the island for me. Beautiful island but not sure what type of fraud or scam they are trying to pull. I will be reaching...
