"This was a wonderful experience. The property sits above the town of kiviri. The beach is a downhill walk, so we drove down so as not to walk back uphill. There is parking on site. The owner is wonderfully responsive as we learned when we locked ourselves out! There are restaurants in close proximity. The city of Nafplio is a 20 minute drive. This is a great town for those who want peace and quiet and families. I cannot say enough about our stay, we loved it!! The kitchen and main bedroom are on second floor and accessed via a spiral staircase so beware! It was not a problem for us but It can be a problem for mobility challenged. "

"The property is exactly as stated and shown. The hosts were very welcoming and looked after us throughout our stay. As they live in the same block everything was done perfectly. They are perfect hosts. The balcony has outstanding views out to sea and the mountains in the distance. The apartment is spacious and fairly well equipped. We loved the short walk down to the shore for early morning swims (you need beach shoes). We had a wonderful fortnight and would recommend highly. Thank you Vasilis and Katerina. "

"Great location, okay space, horrible property manager. - Address in confirmation email takes you to another location. I knew the language and was able to ask someone for help. - Ac unit is broken - top flap is taped down and second flap does not move so air does not blow to cool down and does not reach the bedroom. - Asked for a fan - was brought an old broken fan. Another very hot evening of sleep. Didn’t see the host to let her know it was broken but a brand new box fan showed up on the doorstep the next night so she knew she gave us a broken fan the night before. - 3 days into our trip, I catch the host peering at me through a sliding door. She startled me and I opened the door to say hello. She said “oh, you’re here?” I said yes. She said well if you’re not here, you must turn off the ac unit. I kind of scoffed at the request with it being 43 degrees during the day but said we’ll try our best to remember but it gets very hot and it’s more comfortable when we get back if it’s on. She said no, it’s forbidden and you must turn it off. - There was no other questions about how we’ve enjoyed our stay so far, etc. she left in a haste. - Left the unit for 1.5 hours later that day to return and find the ac had been turned off. She entered with no warning with our passports and money there. There is no safe on the property. - you must arrange cleaning with the cleaner yourself. No replenishment of toilet paper. "We picked Xiropigado off the map, having stayed previously in the next village up the coast (Kiveri). This apartment was an incredible find! My family of four felt right at home. We had plenty of room to spread out, and it was convenient to have both a second half bathroom and a washing machine (with a drying rack outside). The kitchen was well stocked, and we were able to get most of what we needed from the small market in town. The BEST part of this rental, though, is its location above a beautiful private beach! It's rocky, like many in the area, but it's gorgeous and secluded. We spent many hours there, reading in the shade and cooling off in the clear water. It felt like our own little slice of heaven! In addition, our hosts were wonderful. They were responsive and incredibly friendly. We were sad to leave, but will hopefully return in the future!"

"We spent a wonderful week at the sunrise apartments. It’s a stunning location. The sitting room and balcony look out across the Argolic gulf. It was absolutely breath taking. The pebble beach is directly below, - crystal clear water, hardly anyone there, so pretty, I would say idyllic. A short walk from the apartment takes you into the little village, lots of swimming beaches and five or six lovely tavernas. Hardly any traffic. Really peaceful. Our landlord Vassily was wonderful - warm, welcoming, charming and kind. A really lovely man. We would go back at the drop of a hat!"
