Eventually found keys and gained access. House is pleasant but feels unloved; several lights broken; landline ("for emergencies") was disconnected and hand set broken; don't know if heating system (supposed to cut in below 20 degrees) actually works, There's loads of possible local cycling (boulangeries, fromagerie, honey...

"Exceptional property in beautiful rural location. 18 of our family stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed this delightful holiday accommodation. Superb pool, great covered/outside eating area, boules, table tennis etc. Air conditioning in one apartment building, thick walls and therefore relatively cool in the other apartment building. Really super stay. Note for English renters: Towels and toilet paper not provided as we believe is the custom in France."

"The property is very nice and well equipped but could do with new pillows on the beds. We enjoyed our two weeks stay in the house. There were a couple of problems we encountered. The key safe was extremely difficult to open perhaps needs to be looked at and the other was the neighbours dogs pooing frequently in front of the garage. Having said that none of these issues spoilt our stay and would recommend."
