Supermarket ten mins away in Cozes. Patrice the patron is lovely, speaks very good English and is always available on the phone if needed. Well recommended 👍"

Voisinage tranquille, accès au centre ville a pied, belle promenade autour et a l intérieur des remparts. Ville centrale pour visiter les Charentes comme les deux Sèvres Je recommande vivement , merci a Josiane et a son mari de nous avoir loué votre maison pour ces 15 jours."

"Great house with real character, quiet and out in the sticks, but only 5 minutes from a supermarket and 25 minutes from a beach. Really nice garden with shade and sun and lots of seating. Everything we could need in the kitchen. What's not to like about this place "

"The property is very nice and well equipped but could do with new pillows on the beds. We enjoyed our two weeks stay in the house. There were a couple of problems we encountered. The key safe was extremely difficult to open perhaps needs to be looked at and the other was the neighbours dogs pooing frequently in front of the garage. Having said that none of these issues spoilt our stay and would recommend."

Albert was attentive and available, with the pool being cleaned regularly and even supplying fans at short notice when the temperature spiked. Would definitely consider coming back to the same house if we visited the area again."

Sinon la localisation est bonne pour visiter la Charente. Le jardin est agréable."

"Exceptional property in beautiful rural location. 18 of our family stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed this delightful holiday accommodation. Superb pool, great covered/outside eating area, boules, table tennis etc. Air conditioning in one apartment building, thick walls and therefore relatively cool in the other apartment building. Really super stay. Note for English renters: Towels and toilet paper not provided as we believe is the custom in France."

Not far to the coast and an hour drive from La Rochelle and Bordeaux with lots of beautiful Vineyards to visit in between, and a 10 minute drive to Saintes with lots of restaurants and bars, as well as good shopping. Brilliant and welcoming hosts with cute dogs, will miss breakfast and coffee by the pool in the mornings."
