"The surrounding area was scary. Inside cabin was fine accept the step up into the living bedroom space was dangerous. Curtains were needed in the kitchen area. Accessiblity would be an issue for some. Really hard to contact owners and find the cabin. Would not recommend!!"

We enjoyed numerous outings on Ponhook Lake in the canoes, kayaks and stand up paddleboard provided by the owner. The house is beautiful, clean and very well kept up. "My family had a very nice time here. It is exceptionally clean and spacious! If you are looking for a quiet beautiful place for a family reunion this is the place. I only gave 3 on description because the slide that is in every picture is not permitted for use by renters. It would have been nice to know this before they tried to use it,and then they watched the neighbor children use it.Otherwise it is an exceptional beautiful property."

"This is a hidden gem! The house was gorgeous and had the perfect cottage feel along with all the amenities. Located on a cute cove off the larger lake created a nice private feel and made the water warmer! Mike was great communicating with and answered all our questions! A great place to escape for the weekend. Would definitely recommend!!"
