"Bright spacious house yet cosy and comfortable. We immediately felt at home here. The outside space is wonderful and especially so with the new sun room and terrace with sea views. It was so nice to come back to this house after a day exploring all that Donegal has to offer. We had everything we needed."

"Tasty Food & Friendly Helpful Staff stood out most for me during my 2 day stay at this cosy hotel. Made very welcome on arrival even though I was late to check in and thankful the Chef was still on site as he made me fish & chips with real mushy peas. I was famished after long journey but that yummy meal made the wait so worth it. Big 'Thank you' to all the lovely & accommodating staff that made my stay a very pleasant & comfortable one. Especially to the young lady on reception when I arrived at 9pm on 6th Sept - in all her multitasking she still managed to fit in going to kitchen to ask the chef if he could feed me, bring my case upstairs to my room so I could go straight to table, while remaining pleasant & efficient with all the asks of her in between and straight after 👏 My room was cosy, clean and catered perfectly for my needs - tea & coffee facilities in the room and toiletries in bathroom. Because another reviewer mentioned it, I wasn't surprised to find the room hot. Though my bones were loving the toasty room I do prefer it cooler when sleeping so just adjusted the rad to off and opened window. Bed was comfortable and I enjoyed an undisturbed nights sleep on both days. I stayed at this hotel because it was accessible by bus & close to the Pier where I planned to get the Ferry to Tory Island - though I took taxi next morning to ensure I didn't miss it. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this homely hotel and hope I get the opportunity to return 😍. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay. The room was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was a real joy - proper menu with food cooked to order and polite servers - not the self service buffet we are all used to these days. The atmosphere in the lobby and lounge is warm and homely. We cannot fault the hotel and will recommend it to family and friends. "

"Although my 95 yo independent Uncle might not agree, only because.... The house is gorgeous! Big beautiful Windows with Ireland beauty outside of every one of them. The sunsets... Oh M Gee!!!..One evening we drove down to the beach for an even more breathtaking view, the evening to night skys displayed an assortment of colorful arrays of light streaking through the skys!, i swear it seemed to be the beginning of aurora borealis, Although it did not end in that, It was oh so magnificent!! The sheep came down the hill to say Hi every morning while i sat on the very nice glassed in porch/patio that sits in the front of the house for the extra pleasure to sit and admire the views. The beach....As titled,... just a winding road away. Now to follow through with the beginning of my descriptive review, When I stated that my 95-year-old uncle might not agree.... inside the home, its wonderfully updated and modern, i admit it took me some repeated attempts to to figure out the stovetop, lol.. but my uncle got frustrated, having problems with the stove, and shower.. BUT...He's 95! ALL IN ALL, we had a wonderful time, and the home and location are PERFECT!"

"The minute we walked into this cottage we knew we had chosen the right place for our extended family meet-up in Ireland. Beautifully decorated with lovely fabrics and furniture. The kitchen has upscale appliances and it too, is artful in its presentation. The bathroom is lovely too. One of the best parts is that it's at the end a narrow rural road, with just another cottage. The view is spectacular with rolling hills, sheep and rock walls. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and we're already dreaming of coming back."
