You and your family will love staying in this beautiful three-bedroom, three-bath home nestled on the banks of Lake LaVista, just one block north of Pine Avenue in the village of Anna Maria. Everything you're looking for in a vacation rental home is right here...a lovely view, a large heated pool (pool heat is extra!), updated kitchen and bathrooms, lots of privacy, and super easy access to our island attractions!


With over 2100 square feet of ground-floor living space, you'll have plenty of room to relax and enjoy your surroundings. The large dining room table is the perfect spot for family gatherings, and the expansive, well-equipped kitchen will make it easy for everyone to pitch in when it's time for meal preparation.

Two bedrooms and one bathroom are located down the hallway and can be closed off for additional privacy, while the primary bedroom features a King Bed, an en suite bath, private patio area, and beautiful views over Lake LaVista.

Although every room in the house is beautifully decorated with coastal design, the prettiest part of this house is, without a doubt, the large backyard. Loads of windows and sliding glass doors provide a terrific view from most rooms, along with easy access to this inviting oasis. The large heated pool is child-friendly with a shallow area at both ends. And stretching the length of this extra-large property is Lake LaVista, a beautiful meandering waterway that leads out to Tampa Bay. The property has a boat dock. (The boat lift is for owner's use only). Boaters, please keep in mind that the one fixed bridge between the house and Tampa Bay allows only a 7 foot clearance at high tide.

When you're ready for the beach, an easy walk or bike ride will take you to the Sand Bar Restaurant by the Gulf, or to the Historic Anna Maria City Pier near the Bay. You'll find shops and restaurants en route, along with the Anna Maria Community Theater and the Anna Maria Historical Society Museum, as well as fun street festivals several times a year. A stop for the free Island Trolley is just at the end of the street when you're ready for adventures a little further down the Island!

Sleeps eight in beds, but there's plenty of room if you'd like to have www.FunandMoreRentals.com bring in a couple of rollaway beds for the kids.

A NOTE ABOUT POOL HEAT: If you book online, your reservation will automatically populate with a pool heat charge for one week. If your reservation is for a longer period, someone on our staff will adjust the pool heat rate to reflect the longer stay. We recommend pool heat at this property, regardless of the time of year, as pools near shady trees stay cooler, even in the summer.

*PET OWNERS: This property is dog friendly for one dog with a maximum weight of 25 pounds and a non-refundable pet fee of $150 for the first week. There is a $50 fee per week for any additional weeks booked. Also, certain breeds are excluded. Amazing Home!

Had a great time during our stay. House was beautiful. All of us were 50 or older and the ranch style was just perfect. Saw dolphins a couple of times on the canal. Would certainly stay here again.

Our favorite place in florida.
This us our 3rd trip here, house has everything we need. Our dogs love it as much as we do. The addition of the green dock light was awesome. Great hosts that made sure everything went well.

Property is very clean and spacious. Location is perfect and being on the canal offers great access for fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding in the canal or bay! Fans in bathrooms would be great :) Thanks for a wonderful family vacation!

Great home on AMI
Six adults enjoyed our week stay at this rental over Christmas. Overall the house is great—tons of light and roomy living areas. Loved being able to use paddleboards to paddle from the dock to the ocean, and up the canal. Loved the proximity to City Pier and restaurants. Despite the cooler than normal temps the heated pool was very comfortable, and the backyard outdoor area was very nice. Area is very walking/bike friendly. There were some quirky things though that could easily be fixed to improve the stay experience. - Doors not closing/shutting well (bathroom off kitchen) - Light switches in odd locations and some didn’t work (queen bedroom lamp is very finicky and no light switch for light in room at all) - Blender is very old and didn’t have a seal so liquid leaked all over - No drain stopper in kitchen - No garage door opener - Front yard needs some work on landscaping (seems overgrown) - Trial size of garbage bags didn’t even fit the garbage can (not even close). Appreciated the larger than normal size can - Area rug in living area easily gets bunched up and could have a better quality rug like for dining area. - Desperately need a shade for the side door, in laundry room. Bathrooms did not have fans and was necessary to open door to laundry room to air out… but door window looks directly into close neighbors kitchen sink and can easily see in. - The queen bed and pillows are quite broken in. May be time for new pillows and mattress.

Beautiful property. Excellent Location
Our stay at this beautiful house was amazing. The pool is large and the landscaping around it makes you feel like you're in an oasis. We enjoyed easy access to the beach and walks up to Bean Point for early morning fishing. Don't miss the sunrise over the bay and the sunset over the Gulf. We would definitely stay here again.

A slice of paradise for the family
We wanted a nice quiet setting for the family. We had dolphins and manatee in the backyard during the day and caught Snook off the dock at night. The sunset over the golf was amazing and we found sand dollars walking the beach. The evenings were topped off with ice cream from the local ice cream shops. No need to drive with the free trolley. We opted to rent a 6 person golf cart and everyone had a blast. The rental unit had all of the amenities of home and was very clean and everyone enjoyed the pool. Thank you for sharing your property and we look forward to returning.

Great location, wonderful pool!
We had a wonderful time at this property. The pool was very large. We did pay extra for it to be heated. It was the perfect poolside hang out after a day at the beach. Loved the chairs facing the canal for morning coffee. The kitchen had everything we needed. There are no beach umbrellas, toys, etc. provided at the property. The thermostat was set at 74 and the instructions stated to not adjust the temperature. It did become quite hot at night in the bedroom closest to the patio/pool area even with the fans on high. Great location close to pine avenue. Within walking distance to food and shops. All in all a great stay!

Too much traffic and wait times, RED TIDE
I arrived at the property and couldn’t get in. The email I received had a different entry code. Luckily I arrived in Time to speak to some one on the phone to get me in. The thermostat couldn’t be set lower than 74. So we all burnt up at night. None of the bedrooms had TVs except for the kids room but we never could get it to work. The previous tenants took the garage door opener so we had to use the front door every time we left. It rained 4 out of the 7 days we were there. The owners did not let us know about red tide. So we couldn’t go to the beach at all without coughing or seeing dead fish everywhere. There’s so many golf carts (and we couldn’t even get one to rent) on the island, that it literally took us 10 minutes just to go 2 miles. The restaurants around the area always had a 2 hour wait(Like the Ugly Grouper). The pool was never cleaned while we were there. So it started turning green about the 4th day. The pump in the pool was annoying cause we had to keep fixing it(pulling stuff out) so it would work and clean the pool. So we would have swim around a large hose not getting to fully enjoy the pool. The lawn guys came and blew leaves and grass all in the pool and where the sitting area was. This was one of the worst beach trips we’ve ever been on. Luckily we made the best of the situation and left a day early to go stay on the east coast one night. Definitely won’t be back.

Great house and location!
We loved the house and location. The beds were comfy. Lots of extra towels and a ton of beach towels. Heating the pool was a great decision for our December stay. The kitchen has a regular coffee maker and a Keurig. Mixer, blender, juicer and good knives. Wish there had been more Tupperware type storage but otherwise a well appointed kitchen. The pool and dock were wonderful. We rented a pontoon from Tanner at Life is Good Pontoon rentals. I would highly recommend him. We rode our bikes every where. The house had a few bikes but we brought our own. If you plan to rent bikes, golf cart or a boat make sure you reserve them ahead of time. We had a wonderful family Christmas vacation. We will definitely be back!

Late Summer Respite
Wow. What a great place. The pool was perfect, the view over the canal in the morning, gorgeous, and location was oh-so-close to the beach and everything on Pine Ave. We had a small issue with the refrigerator (wasn't making ice) and the management fixed it quickly. We'd come back again, for sure. The only issue that management may wish to investigate is that the a/c seems to need an upgrade. The master bedroom and bath seemed much warmer than the rest of the house and seemingly wouldn't cool down as much as the rest of the home.

Great set up for familys with pets
My family just got back and we miss it already. The house was perfectly set up for the 7 adults we had stay there for the week, plenty of room for everyone. The pool was wonderful and everyone enjoyed fishing right off the seawall. We will definitely stay again.

Absolute Heaven!
This property has it all! The location, the comfort, and the atmosphere is superb! We spent a week here and celebrated Father's Day and my son's 11th birthday. I could not ask for a more accommodating and nicely stocked home. We went out to dinner a few nights as well as prepared meals in the gorgeous, nicely stocked kitchen. The pool is amazing! Its very big and shallow at both ends and deeper in the middle makes for great pool volleyball. The entire family had a blast. Walking distance to shops and the beach makes for a wonderful stay. The pictures shown on the listing are exactly what you get. Nothing is misleading. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a vacation home on Anna Maria Island! We enjoyed the beautiful home and location. However, the pool was not serviced at all while we were there, and the water turned green halfway through our week. We made calls to pool maintenance and the management team and were promised cleaning, but no one showed up.

Peaceful waterfront home with every amenity!
Lovely home on the lagoon. Relaxed at the water’s edge each morning drinking coffee while watching the egrets, herons and other unique birds. Beautifully landscaped property. Pool is large and water temperature perfect. Family visited for several days and the large, well equipped kitchen was a chef’s dream; we enjoyed creating several wonderful meals. These hosts have thought of everything we could possibly need, thank you! Best FL rental ever and we look forward to coming back.
