Our home has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on the second floor. There are a few steps to get to the common door to enter the duplex. Once inside, this unit's door is on the right. Go up a set of stairs to enter the space.

Please note: This house doesn’t have central AC, but stays cool during summer with portable + window air conditioning units and extra fans. Also, there may be guests below you in the lower level unit, so please leave shoes at the top of the stairs and keep footsteps and volume to a minimum, especially after 9pm.

99% of guests are visiting family, friends, on a work trip, or just exploring town. For anyone who intends to have a party, disturb the neighborhood, or in any other way violate our house rules, we want to make clear that:
We have a zero-tolerance policy for this. We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us.
We have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule.

Located directly on N 7th Street, our driveway fits one car for this unit but directly up the street about three blocks, you’ll find free street parking next to a park at Willow & 7th.

The unit is fully accessible via a YALE smart lock at the front door. Enter the unique code we'll provide you the week before your stay begins, and press the CHECK to unlock.
When leaving, enter your code and press the CHECK to lock the door.
Our Availability

We are available whenever you need! Please feel free to reach out via the app or website you booked on with any specific questions. For any health emergencies, please dial 911. If a system malfunctions (i.e., hot water not functioning or a light has gone out), please send us a message on the app or website you booked on and we will be sure to address it in as short a time as possible (we usually respond within a few minutes). We also have handymen, electricians, plumbers, and landscapers with whom we work, so for any extenuating circumstances, we will happily bring them out to solve your issues post haste!
Extra Sleeping Arrangements

Pullout Couch: Underneath the horizontal seat you will find two fabric handles. Pull them out from under the couch and raise up the extra mattress section from underneath the couch. Remove the couch pillows to make space for two!
Extra Linens: Underneath the chaise section of the couch you will find four bath towels and four hand towels, four pillows, a comforter, and extra sets of sheets and pillowcases for the couch and air mattress.

We love hosting folks, so we want to be as respectful as possible to our wonderful neighbors. Since we’re in a quiet neighborhood, we do ask that you follow a few easy rules:
- No parties & no overnight guests without prior approval. If you’re looking to host a small gathering, that’s probably ok but please let us know.
- Respectful, quiet volume, particularly after 9 pm.
- Please leave your shoes at the door.
- No pets please, as many of the guests we host have allergies.
- No smoking - also, don't discard your cigarettes in house trash cans. They get stinky.
- If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair.
- Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help.

The house also provides close proximity to Michigan Stadium (10 min drive) and all of the athletic facilities, including Yost Ice Arena, Chrisler Basketball Arena, and the Michigan Baseball Stadium. Downtown Ann Arbor, University of Michigan, the Michigan Hospital, and Kerrytown are only a few minutes away as well.

The house is at the intersection of N 7th Street (the main north/south thoroughfare on the west side) and W Huron street, which is one of the main east/west arteries to and from Ann Arbor. There are two bus stops on either side of W Huron street just a few steps away from the house going to and from Downtown AA and University of Michigan's transportation center.
