"Hemos estado muy agusto, el apartamento esta muy bien, aunque para 5 personas un poquito pequeño, sobre todo el sofa. Pero en general esta muy bien cuidado. Por poner un pero es el olor a madera vieja y humeda que hay. Esta en un pueblo muy tranquilo y pintoresco pero quizas un poco alejado si piensas hacer excursiones por cantabria. "A mouldy smell is the first impression (couch especially). Lack of adequate kitchen equipment, (not one sharp knife).Washing machine door faulty. No way to dry clothes if raining. Noise from adjoining rental, walls obviously too thin. Accomodation needs total refurbishment. Covered outside areas totally useless as rain ingress was extensive. "

"A very relaxing week in a lovely, peaceful location with beaches very nearby and all amenities within a 10 minute walk. The property was clean, welcoming and the views were beautiful. The pool and tennis court were great for our teenage boys and we could easily have spent every day just at the villa. Beaches nearby were great for swimming and boarding. "We enjoyed our holiday. The cottage would benefit from an audit of crockery, cooking utensils etc. eg, more breakfast bowls needed and no teapot lid. A welcome pack in the house giving info how things work, eg recycling, hot water, where to get firewood, and general info of places to visit would be good and perhaps a visitors comments book. Appreciated Mari, the housekeeper, help and cleaning very much. It’s a beautiful building with nice linens and very well located in the area."

"We are a retired couple spending three months bicycling in northern Spain. The host and his son took great care to show us where everything was and how it worked. We speak no Spanish, but they were kind and patient and made sure we had what we needed. The apartment is lovely and complete, the location is absolutely beautiful. "The house was full of character with a big, beautiful garden that Sol and Luis are very proud of. Sol was very helpful and gave us recommendations for restaurants and where to watch the Euro 2024 final in Santander. Luis and Sol live nearby but were very discreet. them often."
