Grinning Bear Lodge w/ Spacious Deck and Hot Tub

The vacation rental is nestled in the woods with wildlife as your nearest neighbor. Enjoy your serene surroundings with a barbecue on the spacious deck, or step inside to cozy up by the gas fireplace. With a full kitchen, game room, and easy access to Angel Fire Resort only 5 miles away, this house is the perfect home base in any season!

The Living Room offers vaulted ceilings, stone fireplace and a wall of windows. You'll enjoy the rustic decor and taxidermy. A large, fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and plenty of counter space makes it easy for you to cook up your favorite meals. You'll find a Keurig coffee maker, French Press, coffee grinder, mixer, lots of pots, pans, baking dishes, utensils, dishes, etc. The dining room table seats 10 and a large kitchen island seats 5.

The master bedroom is located on the first level and features a King Bed and ensuite bath with jetted tub and walk-in shower. A second bedroom on this main level has a queen bed and a twin bed. There is a second full bath on this floor. A separate laundry room with full size washer and dryer makes your life in the mountains easy.

Upstairs is a loft/'game room with pull out sofa bed, reading chairs, bookcase filled with books and games and a PlayStation 4.

There are 2 bedrooms on the upper level that share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other a queen bed and twin bed.

The home offers fiber optic Internet, smart TV and 4 Roku TVs (streaming only, no cable/satellite), and a PlayStation 4.

Outside you can relax on the huge deck while you watch the wildlife. Or soak in the hot tub and enjoy the views. There is both a gas grill and a pellet grill on the deck. A gas firepit on the deck gives you another place to unwind.

Feel free to bring your well-behaved dog to Grinning Bear Lodge. We're dog-friendly with a maximum of 2 dogs up to 50 pounds in total weight. Violation will result in a $1000 fine per dog over the allowed number of dogs or the weight maximum. There is a $250 non-refundable pet fee per stay.

PLEASE NOTE: 4WD or AWD is required to access the property during the winter months.

Be Advised that our little mountain town does NOT have trash pickup. The Village of Angel Fire requires residents & guests to bring household-generated trash to the Recycle Park located at 27 Halo Pines Terrace (map in binder and easy to find!). Please take your trash to the Recycle Park when trekking into town during your stay and/or at checkout. In addition, be aware that trash placed outside or in a vehicle may attract unwanted wildlife attention. While waiting to take your garbage to town, put it in the garage. Do not leave garbage on the deck or in your vehicle.

Your safety matters. This property features 3 exterior security cameras, located above the garage, front entryway, and front door, all facing out towards the driveways. They do not look into interior spaces.
