Our home is located in the Angel Fire Resort at 9100 feet in elevation and backed up to the 1.5 million acre Carson National Forest. This location provides unparalleled access for all your favorite motorsport activities including snowmobiling, UTV, ATV, motorcycle, and others. Other non-motorized forest activities would include extensive hiking, camping, hunting, and firearm discharge. Just minutes from Angel Fire Ski Area, Angel Fire Golf Course, and Monte Verde Lake.

Great family fun
We spent our family Christmas together in the cabin. It was perfect. The accommodations could not have been better. The appliances in the kitchen were top notch. The game room for the kids was the best. Perfect amount of beds for the whole family. Outside the firepit was great for the whole family. Would recommend this facility to anyone wanting to get away and have some family fun. ,

Friends & family ski trip
From the moment we arrived, it was everything we were expecting and more !!! Fabulous home that was equipped with everything we needed! The entertainment area upstairs was perfect for evenings at home! Property was well maintained and a nice touch was having the driveway cleared of snow for us! Would definitely stay again!

Great Location
Owner was very kind and helpful. Hot tub was amazing, older kids loved the game room and the little ones got a kick out of the slide in the loft area. Nice area for the kids to go sledding in the snow. Not to far from town and ski lifts.

The home was everything and more. We had a group of 15. Everyone had plenty of room to stretch out and have fun. The house had everything needed to have great time. Kitchen was stocked very well the activities were numerous. The views were amazing. Wildlife everywhere and the views were the best. Couldn’t have picked a better place for our family vacation.

Wonderful house
What an awesome house! We especially loved the seclusion… even though we weren’t confident enough to get to the skiing we thought we would do (you’ll need that 4WD when the roads haven’t been plowed yet, and we got a lot of snow while we were there) the kids couldn’t have had more fun sledding and playing in the snow! Bunks were fun and beds were comfortable. The house was warm and hot tub was hot! We loved our stay!

Very nice, comfortable home away from home in Angel Fire!
We really enjoyed our stay in this house! The owners were very responsive to all of our questions and were even able to let us check in early since we'd driven in overnight and arrived much earlier than the check in time. Everything was very nice, the beds were comfortable, the house was clean, there were a lot of supplies as far as dishwasher detergent pods, laundry detergent, ziploc bags, spices, basic cooking ingredients (cooking spray, honey). We had an issue with the dryer not working properly, but the owners graciously offered to pick up our clothes and bring them to a laundromat to dry them for us and bring them back, which was very nice as we didn't want our wet laundry to sit and mildew. With the weather, they weren't able to get someone to look at the dryer right away, which was fine. We'd highly recommend this property for your next vacation in Angel Fire!

Perfect for us!
The house looks just like the pictures, if not better in person! The kids loved the upstairs game area. I wish that had been a little bit more closed in, but it was fine. There was plenty room for everyone to sleep. We had eight adults, for big kids, ages 8 to 12, and two babies. The only issue was nothing to do with the house itself. The house is a few miles into a neighborhood going uphill. The fresh snow with our 2 wheel drive 15 passenger van was a bit tricky for us. The host was great with communication. Service was not the greatest in the neighborhood just because of location, but the Wi-Fi at the house was great. Overall, loved the trip and am happy with our choice!

Family Christmas 2021
Everything was wonderful. Property owner was available as we needed and responded quickly. We had a great time! Property has something for everyone in group to enjoy. Some of the other properties seemed to have issues with driveways due to snow and ice so we were very thankful for this property. Having a large garage to park cars in was definitely a plus.

Great house in an amazing location!
We had such a great time here! The house is located next to trails that are perfect for dirt bikes and Side by sides. The house is great for large groups and offered tons of stuff for the kids. The house is very spacious and offered plenty of room to sprawl out. Downside was it was loud with a lot of kids bc the upstairs is open to the downstairs. There were a few minor things that seemed to need a little TLC but overall it was perfect!!!

Everything you need for fun!
Loved having everything we needed to tube, snow shoe and snow board available without any additional effort on our part. Game room and hot tub were a huge plus. Great vacation, kids didn’t want to leave, already planning our return.

The house that has it all
Awesome place awesome amenities, had everything we could ask for. An absolute blast to come back to after a day of snowboarding. The neighborhood was so majestic after it snowed. Would recommend 4wd or chains to get around the neighborhood if it snows.

Perfect Choice for family ski trip
This house was perfect for our trip. We had 4 families, 3 of which had children. The bedrooms had plenty of space and fit us all perfectly. The upstairs game room was wonderful and we enjoyed playing all the activities in it. Downstairs was perfect as well, the table is amazing and the living area was a perfect spot to lounge. The kitchen had everything we needed, as did the rest of the home. The backyard was also amazing, and we enjoyed sledding down the little hill, and having a camp fire at night in the awesome fire pit. It snowed the first two days we were there and the roads in the neighborhood were only passable with a 4 wheel drive.

Beautiful setting in the mountains. We loved being able to hike right into the national forest from the back yard. The house was spacious and the upstairs game room / home theater was great for the whole family. Overall, it was very clean and well maintained and was super enjoyable. Highly recommended and we would certainly stay here again.

Incredible mountain experience
Our family had the most incredible time at this property! The owner was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. We never ran out of adventures to have, family fun is what this property is designed for. We hiked out of the back door to the national forest, played basketball, rode the zip line, built forts in the woods, enjoyed great food cooked in the beautiful kitchen, went fishing at the nearby lake, and saw incredible wildlife (tons of humming birds, chipmunks, deer, a herd of elk, and even a friendly black bear).

Great Nature Get Away!
We spent most of the summer road tripping through the mountains to avoid our big city of Houston, TX as well as to be in a climate where we could enjoy the outdoors. This was the last house on our 6 week journey and it was perfect! Chris was very flexible and easy to work with. His house sits on just a lovely piece of land and you really feel away from it all, but the little town of Angel Fire is just minutes away. Nearby country club, pizza joint, and bakery all had great take-out given current events. We so enjoyed the house. The property is amazing! We enjoyed every day with the fresh air along with the chipmunks, bunnies, birds, and dear. We traveled with a humming bird feeder and wow the hummings! We absolutely loved the ability to take daily walks in the Carson National Forest from the home (the backyard!). I am pretty sure not a single car drove by our house during our week long stay. So relaxing. It felt like glamping or family summer camp - both compliments in my book! My 10 year old adored her slide room and everyone else was comfortable in their rooms. The kitchen was easy to use and very well stocked although we always travel with our own pantry. Paper goods, soap, and shampoo were provided, but again we travel with our own. My family loved playing pool in the huge game room and the new basketball court outside was very fun! When we first arrived, the days in New Mexico were pretty warm, but the house is full of windows with screens, rooms have ceiling fans, and the house has fantastic cross ventilation. It was lovely! My only suggestion is the addition of table and chairs outside to allow more enjoyment of the patio and amazing outdoors! I miss my afternoons in the backyard in my hammock!
