"The apartment was really nice and looked exactly like the picture. It was spacious and had a small kitchenette as well. The only down side to our experience was not receiving an access code by the property manager at the time of check in. I had to contact them to get the access code. On the lovely stay website it says that the access codes should be received in advance of check in. I also tried to ask where luggage could be stored if we arrived early and no response (we landed up using left...

"We loved the little bungalow we stayed in for one night. We booked it because it was close to the Porto airport and perfect for a short stay. The bonus was how close to the Ocean it was and the great caliber of the restaurants on the shore. The only difficult part was check-in. The receptionist was surly and ignored us for 25 minutes, without acknowledgng us at the front desk, while she was on a phone call. Cute spot and very convenient."

"The location was terrific. Just steps away from the river and beautiful scenery. The room was ultra clean and very roomy. Comfortable for 3. Would definitely recommend and come back myself. "

"The apartment was lovely, perfect for 1-2 persons, with a great view from the balcony. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Leonor. The location was fantastic, very close to the Bolhão market, the metro, dining, shopping and groceries. It was easy to walk to the historic district and the river. Next time I am in Porto, I will definitely stay here again!"

Beautiful place to stay in Porto

"So many things to love about the GA Palace Hotel. The room and bed was really comfortable with a large bathroom (double sinks), great restaurant, day spa and pool. We were only there for two nights, however, choose to eat meals all meals at the hotel restaurant or use room service, apart from the lunch we had in the Douro Valley. "
