"This is a wonderful modern hotel. The room was great, great views. Friendly staff. An awesome wellness area. Great dinners and the breakfast was amazing. They will pick you up and take you to the train station for a fee. Easy to get there by taking the gondola to Furi and then a 5 minute walk to the hotel. Would love to go again!!"

"It was a very comfortable hotel - we thought they could have made the hot water, hot coffee, hot tea, hot chocolate available 24/7 as a few other hotels we've stayed at had done. Personnel was most helpful. Rooms were very clean and well-kept. Location worked out very well for us. There were some concerns in our group about what constituted a "room with a view" of the Matterhorn.....? of the city? of the neighborhood? That could be clarified in the hotel site. "Where to begin!? Schwarzsee Hotel is amazing for skiers who travel across the continents with the mentality to enjoy the outdoors. This hotel is very convenient as it is a ski-in-and-out hotel. With the most amazing views of the Matterhorn and part of the Swiss Alps just out your window. The gondola is one minute walk and to embark further up in the mountains and all the way to Cervinia ski resort which lands in Italy!! The staff at the hotel are polite and helpful, the food is beyond delicious....

"The Basecamp is great. You can walk to the ski bus in about 10 minutes. We stayed 3 nights and they picked us up from the train and took us back via their shuttle which made coming and going easy. The room was extremely dry and very warm. The beds were okay. We were 4 adults in a four person room. The top bunks are very hard to get in and out of and the ladder a little tough. Would be great for small children but difficult for adults. The staff was really nice, especially the lady who checked us...
