"We spent a week here and went out everyday sightseeing and to different beaches, with lots of walks! Kamilari has a nice feeling about it, very friendly locals, some great Tavernas and a very well stocked supermarket. Not forgetting The Blues bar for cocktails! Vangelis and Tanya are really lovely people and the house was perfect Tanya even made me a birthday cake for my 60th!!"

The setting is quiet and ideally located for exploring the village on foot and for driving to beaches and historical attractions in the area as well as larger neighboring towns. We found the people in the village to be friendly every thing we needed nearby. We could tell that this is a well loved house, more than that, a home, and it felt like home to us. But the host, Harris, was also very friendly and attentive, telling us how to navigate down to the beach and town. Air conditioning worked like a dream and the bed was comfy. All in all a brilliant experience, and as we are frequent visitors to Crete we will be back. "

"IDI hotel was a perfect little gem. First and foremost, the hotel staff were extremely nice and helpful. They were always ready to assist. The rooms were very clean. What was most important for a family of 5, their family room had 2 full bathrooms/showers which made it so much more convenient. The breakfast was very tasty and plenty. The only minor complaint was the lack of parking, but that was more to do with the municipality than the hotel itself. If I were to return to Agia Galini, I would definitely stay there again."
