"Simple, cozy accommodations in close proximity to a couple nice trailheads (Denning, Slide Mountain.) The complex was closed up for winter the weekend I stayed, but a special thank you to the manager who was kind enough to drive over after hours and open up a room for a friend I'd been out hiking with on an adventure that lasted much later than we'd expected. We appreciate the kindness and hospitality more than you can imagine. "

"It is a delightful location. I was planning to keep moving but stayed extra day after skiing at nearby ski resort. The bed was very comfortable and the home cooked breakfast very tasty. It is a historic location with deeply knowledgeable hostess."

"Very good place, clean and cozy. Stuff is very friendly. Hotel has a hottub, sauna and steam room included in the room price, however the reservation is required for those amenities, which is not mentioned on Expedia! So after booking better to call hotel directly and made the reservation. Expedia didn't notify us so when we arrived to hotel, all amenities were fully booked and we could not enjoy it."

"This place was just a one day layover for me. When I got here I regretted that I didn’t have more time to spend. This place is beautiful and peaceful and the accommodation are prime. I especially recommend the Bar and restaurant Daphodile and the amazing bartender and waitress Natasha. "
