"Absolutely love Gantt Lake & this lake house! The most peaceful and relaxing place. The deck and covered back porch are perfect for unwinding and relaxing, especially the hammock. Will definitely be returning!"

"This was the sweetest!! Small (one full bath, one bedroom), serenely planted on a property by the river, quiet; and just 2 miles from the Gantt, AL Singing House. The property has a large yard that faces the river there; and you can sit and read in the swing or on the small dock. Miss Deborah and her family were hosts and were on the property in another on-site home. It was very comforting to come onto the property after dark (November time change and late singing). They never intruded, but their sweet lights were on each evening when I had to come back in the dark. The space i rented was fully ready for me to cook...even though I didn't need to; there were plenty of linens in the restroom and bedroom (warm and cozy!) and a comfy place to watch a bit of tv in the living room. I had my morning coffee sitting at the patio set just outside the door so I could listen and see the wildlife (birds, chipmunks, deer....). I hope to snag this again and also hope others get a chance to enjoy being there! "

"From the moment we opened the door,the relaxing atmosphere of the lakehouse welcomed us in. smiling faces lit up because we know we hit the jackpot.Beautiful view even from the front door.we spent a lot of time out on the deck. It was a great place to hang out with family that I haven’t seen in years. Surprisingly it even has a big screen tv out there! Each room tastefully decorated reflecting a great representation of being at the lake.Comfy beds and the place was very accommodating. They thought of everything that one might need. Made for a perfect experience. Even the neighbors were super friendly and welcoming. The owners had great communication and easy to work with.By far way much better than a hotel room! Excellent find. highly recommended A+"

"We stayed Monday-Friday and wish it could have been longer. Great house on a quiet street with amazing lake views. We spent every morning enjoying the back porch and sitting by the lake. We hope to visit again soon!"

"Lakeside Escape fits the title well. We enjoyed lounging, cornhole, and fishing in between baseball games. The large back porch provides a great view of the lake and is spacious for enough for the whole family. You can view the large TV (inside) through the windows from the porch. If we ever come back to Andalusia, we will definitely book again. "
