"What a lovely stay! Highly recommend. The hosts, Sonya and Sebastian, were very warm friendly and helpful (They told us about the next morning's high tides which we would have otherwise missed.) The B&B was a nice and quiet place, a short 5-10 min walk to the bus stop. The room had plenty of space yet felt cozy. Loved the featherbed and loved the breakfast. If we're back this way would love to stay again."

"Madame and Monsieur were very friendly and helpful. The building and guest room were like stepping back in time hundreds of years, but with modern plumbing and electricity. Even the driveway, lined with an arching canopy of beautiful trees, was a thing of beauty. "

"We were the only guests at the chateau. The property is beautiful and the owner very hospitable and welcoming. There are 4 peacocks that roam the chateau grounds which are beautiful. In the morning the owner presented us with a gorgeous breakfast in his chateau dining room which was very elegant. All considered, we would love to stay at Chateau de Chantore again. 5 stars."

"My only regret is that we didn't plan a longer stay! This Chateau and the grounds are stunning. The resident manager, Pascale, was delightful, helpful and it was so pleasant to chat with her during our stay. She recommended a lovely restaurant in a nearby town and arranged reservations for us on a busy Friday night. Made to order breakfast, extensive honor bar with drinks and snacks, beautiful suite and common areas and very reasonable pricing; you can't go wrong with Chateau La Remetiere!"
