Phenomenal Stay
We were so incredibly impressed by this location! They had so many extras and thoughtful considerations for children there that we were continuously blown away as we discovered more things. Their pictures don't really do the property justice, but it was a delightful stay and we'll be going back there!

Girdwood Nordic is an absolutely stunning property in a wonderful location. Great restaurants, views, hiking in Girdwood but also an easy drive to Anchorage, Seward, and Kenai Fjords. Leslie is a wonderful host! Communication was excellent and over and above hospitality. The great snacks and extras made our stay so special! Thank you for a truly relaxing and memorable vacation.

Grateful Grandparents in Girdwood
We were very pleased with this top-notch home in Girdwood, but we were even more impressed with the kindness and generosity of our host. Leslie. We had been planning to visit our daughter and her family in Alaska, and we thought we had found the perfect place to accommodate our family of 6 ranging in age from 2 to 82. Unfortunately (or fortunately as we learned upon arriving at Leslie's Girdwood home) the system allowed us to double-book the first home we chose in Palmer, AK. We were quickly alerted of the double-booking, but we had few options available in the Anchorage area that accommodated our dates and home size needs. We were very lucky to find Leslie's Girdwood home was available for our dates and quickly contacted her to confirm availability. She was very quick to confirm availability and patiently assisted us with our booking as we ran into some system issues with completing the booking. We loved the photos shared in the listing, but the home is so much more appealing, pleasantly decorated and thoughtfully adorned with every "extra" you could think of when you visit in person. From the sophisticated coffee maker to all of the games and puzzles to thoughtful snacks to the baby gate that was greatly appreciated to protect our 2-year-old granddaughter and so much more; it is hard to imagine we could have needed any other extras than Leslie provided. We loved our stay at Leslie's home and greatly appreciated her hospitality and kindness. Top-notch indeed!!

Perfect in every way
We were in town for a wedding so lots of family staying in various locations. Ours was far and away the most comfortable, beautiful and well equipped location! Leslie was extremely accommodating and we are already looking forward to our next visit to the area. Really just an amazing place!

Girls weekend!
Our stay surpassed our expectations. It was a girls weekend celebrating one of our birthdays. Leslie thought of absolutely everything. Thoughtful touches throughout. All of us agreed that with all the travel we have done - we have never stayed at a property that was as welcoming and generous as this-down to the personal birthday card and bottle of bubbly. We will be back!!

Perfect place in Alaska
I can only say great things about this place. The place is brand new and indeed a "luxury retreat" as described. Only 5 minutes away from the resort. Few minutes away from Girdwood. Very quite community. The efforts that the owners put into this place to make you feel like home is simply unbelievable. We have NEVER seen so many complimentary things at the rental property. And we are VERY experienced and, in a way, spoiled travelers. I do not think there is anything you can wish more. HIGHLY recommend it! We will definitely come back

Absolutely Incredible!!
We had the absolute best stay because this is such an incredible property! The hosts thought of everything that would make this feel like home. The kitchen is fully stocked and thoughtfully appointed, the living room is cozy and the beds are perfect for a great nights sleep. We have stayed in many vacation rentals across the country and this was the very best!!
