Stayed here for 2 nights, location good with the tram to the city centre right outside. Some great cafes and deli’s on the doorstep. The room was clean and well serviced, not a fan of the pillows (but I am a pillow snob)

Stayed at Quentin Zoo hotel for 3 nights while visiting Amsterdam. It is an older building that has seen some recent refurbishment but appears to be done on a budget. We booked the basic room which was clean, but small and dark with harsh overhead spotlights. The room was clean, quiet and the bed comfortable. Breakfast in the hotel was a nice little buffet with the usual options. Staff was nice and helpful with questions. There is a very convenient tram stop right out in front, but the weather was nice and we made the 30 minute walk to the center of Amsterdam most days. The area seemed very safe and there are a few bars/restaurants nearby. If you are budget conscience and don't need a lot of amenities, this would be a good choice for your stay. It worked well for us and we saved a lot of money compared to other hotels in Amsterdam.

It was a beautiful room with lots of space. It's nice to have your own space when traveling with friends. The staff was very nice and extremely helpful. The location of the hotel was perfect, not far a bunch of restaurants and shops

Small, quirky, well located hotel. Tram stop right outside the door. Staff very friendly and efficient with good English. They were very responsive for anything we needed for the room or travel advice. The hotel itself is quirky which is fun but it is long past its best. The decor is tired and the bed was too soft/ misshapen.
