There were bed bugs in my bed! A lot of them! That was gross.. Also you need to pay 6 euros for a freakin towel and they only accept cash because their credit card machine is broken. So I ended up not using a towel

Found bedbugs on our second night, didn't have blinds on all of the windows, wouldn't stay here as a girl by myself because of some creepy guests Good staff though who also seem a bit fed up with the place but are very friendly. Great location in Amsterdam

Bed bugs, Impolite staff and no left luggage
Was not allowed to leave luggage, despite the employee who checked me in the night before and the website saying so, I was told that they would not look after my luggage while I headed out for the day which as you can imagine was extremely inconvenient. Additionally, the place has bed bugs, I've returned home with bites and itchy skin all over my body. I'm surprised they are still allowed to operate in this manor with all of the previous complaints of the same issue.

Hostel from Hell.
I sincerely hope that if any potential customer is reading this, choose some other place to stay. (im quite sure its better than this) Its dirtiest Hostel i have ever been visiting. Your feet will melt away becouse of the bacteria in bathroom. Stay away and keep safe. Staff is very lazy to clean and they lie about it.

They don't accept luggage to keep, receptionist won't accept it. It was a very small space. Reception desk was beside the kitchen. Non-smoking place but the girl who was assigned to my room was smoking WEED so I had to move! Rooms were so small, like 5sqms I guess. They don't clean the rooms. They don't sweep, mop, nor vacuum them. Lights switch was broken, doors knobs were broken at the toilets and there was no hot water! Other electricity sockets were not working and my roommate had to ask several times. The location was very good, just 20-50meters was the tram, very nearby the museums, restaurants, parks, city center.

This maybe would have been fine if it was cheap, but for a private room booking it was comparable to a hotel in price, but way worse in quality. We ended up leaving after a few hours and finding something better. I should have paid more attention to the reviews but the photos are very misleading

I should have read the reviews before booking. After my 4 night stay I can confirm all or most of the negative reviews: my single room had no blinds or curtains; the bathroom was not clean or tidy (a piece of plastic was hanging around for several days in the shower). the toilet was blocked! and on two mornings there was no toilet paper. Worst of all after night 3 I had insect bites all over by body, I am not sure if these were bed bugs or moscito bites. Terrible experience .....

You get what you paid for... clean sheets-bathroom as close as it would be in your home, nice balcony to people watch. Very narrow stairs-and no lift. VERY LOUD-from doors shutting and people in the street but you have to leave the glass door open because it's hot. No alcohol allowed in the rooms....ha ha ha ha!

Convenient location with Starbucks a supermarket and many restaurants nearby staff were helpful beds where clean with white bedding in general cleanliness was good bathrooms were new unfortunately showers on upper floors were unusable due to poor water pressure kitchen was not adequate very small with no seating and poor condition Building was generally run down with flaking paint plaster falling off ceiling electrics were scary extension chords bare wires and taped up damaged chords

I was extremely dissatisfied. As soon as I arrived and spoke with the management, I was told that all rooms were booked, and they had no availability! I had to find another place to stay, which caused me a lot of inconvenience. I have used the Hotels.com app several times before and have always been satisfied, but this time, I was very disappointed. I paid around 100 euros for 4 nights, and I am very unhappy with what happened. I felt frustrated and angry. I also wrote a letter to the hotel management requesting a refund, but I have not received any reimbursement. I hope you will look into this matter; otherwise, you risk losing a very loyal customer.
