All of the staff are wonderful, the rooms are small, but functional with a small sink and mirror, and small TV, a balcony, very clean, and the breakfast is simple but good and very appreciated. I would stay here again. You will enjoy your stay more by talking to other people staying there.

Friendly hotel!
Our second booking this year. Really nice and friendly staff. Good location and easy to rent a bike. The stairs are pretty intense so make sure you’re fit!

The staff are all so incredibly friendly and helpful - they can advise you on everything from transport to museums. We had a private bathroom and it was very clean and all worked perfectly. Lovely area, so much to do within that area and the restaurants are incredible!

Trip made for ADE, so a lot of moving around in Amsterdam, hotel very well located in the middle of the city and a lot of public transport a few steps from the hotel. Extremely welcoming staff, pleasantly surprised by room decoration. I recommend this hotel

Lovely hotel with fantastic staff
The hotel was in a great location to visit Amsterdam- near a metro station and also walking distance from canals and bridges. Breakfast was not a huge spread, but enough to take you through to lunch. Rooms were clean and (private) bathroom fairly modern. The stairs were extremely steep so be careful if you’re bringing large suitcases with you! Staff extremely friendly and helpful. A great place to stay and the layout downstairs makes it easy to meet other tourists.

Very nice area
Very nice hotel and great staf. The area was perfect with lots of cafees, restaurants and even a local market. We rented bikes for only 8 euros a Day at the hotel and it took us teen minutes to reach the central station and all the inner canals in the old city. But to be honest, the area around the hotel was nicest.we had shared bathrooms, very nice and clean.

if you're going to charge ridiculous Amsterdam prices you need to provide at least basic amenities: clean bathrooms and functioning Wifi. Isa is kind and friendly, location is terrific, next time I will stay elsewhere

Good value and fantastic neighborhood
All being said, this hotel offers good value for the money. It's a "budget hotel", so if you don't expect anything more than that, you won't be disappointed. The room was clean enough, and the shared bathrooms adequately maintained. It could be quite noisy though, as people's voices carried far. The staff were all very nice, and the breakfast is healthy and substantial - a good start to the day. The neighborhood was absolutely fantastic. Close enough to walk (or cycle!) to most anywhere you would want to go, but far removed from the tourist hordes of a more central location. In addition, there's a multitude of fantastic bars, cafes and restaurants that you can walk to within minutes from the hotel. I absolutely loved the neighborhood. The hotel also has extremely easy access to trams that take you right to Central Station.

There actually is a sink in the single room with the shared bathroom and shower on the floor - I hadn't seen that on the pictures beforehand and was positively surprised by it when I arrived. The room and bed were simple but clean and nice. My pillow was too thick for me to sleep comfortably but when I told the staff they made sure I got another one for the next night, so definitely guest-focused. The only thing to keep in mind before booking is that (at least when I was there) it was quite noisy, especially if you're a light sleeper. Not because people were partying or anything like that, I just think the walls are poorly soundproofed and you hear every little laughter or talk from the guests next door. Even with earplugs in, I heard the ventilation from the shower and bathroom on the floor during the whole night. Apart from that, definitely recommend this place, nice familiar atmosphere and good location.

La habitación estaba en un cuarto piso al que se accedía escalando una escalera, empinada con escalones que apenas cabía un pie. En los 4 días que estuvimos no limpiaron la habitación. Las fotos muestran otra cosa. Paredes de cartón, a través de las cuales se escuchaba el crujido de los catres de la habitación lindera ( no se pueden llamar camas) . El habitáculo donde se encontraba el inodoro, era tan pequeño que te chocabas con las paredes. El desayuno, más que elemental, solo queso sin fiambres . Seguridad dudosa. Un código de ingreso al hotel y una llave de ingreso a la habitación que cualquier huésped puede duplicar y todo esto por el precio de 150 euros por noche. En síntesis relación precio calidad altísimo, nada recomendable. Lo único rescatable fue el personal.
