"First thing to say is that the staff were great. The location is fabulous but the place is a little tired. The room was lovely but (here’s an example of tired) the bathroom window was warped so wouldn’t close. The restaurant/bar was closed so there was no place to go other than our room. It also meant, of course, that we had to find somewhere to eat each night and, as the WiFi signal was poor in our room and there was no phone signal, making bookings was not easy. "We had a lovely 2 night stay. Superb location, easy to find, there is an excellent pub 5 minutes walk away with great food. The room was clean with funky colours. "We had a wonderful time. Cwmllan feels back in time in the best way. Some reviewers seemed critical of the water pressure from the spring-fed water system but this didn't bother us much at all.
