"We really enjoyed our stay at this peaceful cottage on the lake. We wanted to enjoy nature, unplug, and do some fishing and this location did not disappoint. Even though it rained it did not deter us from enjoying the dock and fishing. The next night we used the fantastic natural sauna and I swear my skin feels softer. We also used the firepit on site. Jim was an awesome host and easy to communicate with. We did not have any issues and would return in a heartbeat. "

"When we arrived we were immediately struck by how spotlessly clean the whole cabin was. And there were very thoughtful welcome packs too. The cabin has quaint cottage touches and the surround sounds from the woods were lovely. Very relaxing and comfortable environment. Full-sized washer and dryer came in handy. Don’t miss America’s Stonehenge just up the road. Would happily stay here again."

"The cottage was well laid-out for a small to medium size family to stay. Golf cart was great for taking small children to nearby water features (swimming pools and lake). Other visitors and local residents were very friendly and courteous. Perfect place for a week away from hectic city life."

She answered me right away if I needed something. "Sue and Mike were so welcoming. When they saw a baby with us they ran right out and bought a baby gate. Mike took us for a ride on the power boat. We kayaked around the lake on the two kayaks. We saw bunnies, loons, ducks and a beautiful bald eagle. The house had everything we needed for a big group. It was wonderful. The views on three sides of the house were wonderful. It would be wonderful for a wedding party or any family get away!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house and can't wait to return. I've rarely seen such wonderful design in a house, let alone a property on VRBO. Everything was incredibly high quality. Fiona was across the way in the main house and was so helpful. My kiddos loved playing on the lawn and running through the beautiful property. We only live 45 minutes away but this felt like a real vacation. "
