"4 adults stayed. Come and go as you please. Very clean, excellent water quality, loads of plates, pans etc in kitchen. Good showers. Excellent communications. Good fridge freezer. Dishwasher, Fantastic fire for when chilly. Oven worked well. No problems with any appliances. You need a car (as stated in the listing)though we walked to Le Coupole and had a walk to the lovely supermarket at Helfaut and visited the wargraves in the churchyard. "We stayed here for a friend’s birthday who lives nearby. The facilities were excellent for our needs. The property is very well equipped, and has a great garden with outdoor equipment. The nearby railway line was no problem as there were only about 2 trains per hour. Would definitely recommend."

"This is a wonderful living space, with a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely garden. The host was very helpful. For big family gatherings you can book the gite right next door. It has less living space but more than one bathroom."

"Great communication from Julie from the very beginning of the booking process. The house is located on a canal with endless walking and running routes. Great local brasseries for dinner, Louvre Lens is 30 min away. Charlie our dog had an amazing time and is currently fast asleep and shattered. "Felt safe, wasn’t busy when there and the pool is bigger than expected. Enjoyed our stay and someone was always there to help if needed."

"My wife, our three children and I recently returned from our stay in Blessy. The cottage was clean and well equipped. It had a private garden, a great pool area and an idyllic garden and paddocks. Our host were very friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Blessy is a pretty village with a cafe and a small vending machine type shop, which is handy for bread and milk etc but the nearest supermarket is a 10 min drive away, so having a car is useful. "The room was a really good size with a large shower and a kitchenette. The parking was secure and the centre of town was walkable. I wasn't so happy about picking up the keys from a different location and then trying to find where we were staying with limited directions. A map would have been useful. The breakfast wasn't worth calling a breakfast but there is a nearby crockery that sells all the usual stuff."
