"Loved my charming Quinta do Guerra experience. The house is large, comfortable and sparkling clean. The kitchen is very well outfitted. The house is made for outdoor living with multiple lounging areas, beautiful views, the sound of the wind through the pine trees and of course the pool and hot tub. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the home of Jos! The house was located close to cafe's and attractions in Penela. The house is very well stocked with utensils, small appliances and anything you could need to feel at home. The house was clean and the back yard area was pleasant to sit out and view the mountain. The house was more than affordable! Jos even checked on us twice to make sure everything was ok. Thank you for letting us stay."

"This was the most relaxing stay! We were deep in the countryside in our own stone village with great amenities and fresh bread, fruit, cheese, jam and honey for our kitchen every day. No restaurant on site or in walking distance but it was fun and challenging diving around exploring the region on back roads to get to the each town with its castle and church. "

Really spacious with lots of different seating areas inside and out. Plenty to see and do in the area such as Tomar, Obidos and the wooden walkway at Sao Samao made easier by easy access to the motorway. Villa was very clean. "This new renovated property was lovely for a four day stay. There is lots of room indoors as well as outside for the kids. We enjoyed the fire in the lounge and were glad of the blankets and radiators in the bedrooms which made a cozy stay when the weather wasn’t very good. We had good day trips to Tomar, Fatima and Batalha. We would come back again in the summer to make good use of the pool and veranda."
