The property was a little beat up- one of the windows wouldn’t shut and there was a storm that night the window was banging and it scared my youngest son. Although, you had to climb a significant amount of stairs to get to the property, it felt like it was straight out of a movie. "

"We really enjoyed our stay here. It was easy to get to with minimal stairs from the train station. It was really nice having the patio with a view of the sea. The place has a wonderful aesthetic that really suits the property. There are tight stairs up to the bedroom level so we opted to leave our luggage in the front room. Wasn't an issue for us. "Gloria was a lovely, welcoming host who was very accommodating when we arrived late due to an accident on the road. The property was clean and well equipped for our needs in an excellent location. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t that good when we were there but we were able to drive to Pisa and Lucca for day trips. "My friend and I had an amazing trip while staying at the little pirate house. Its location was close enough to get to everything but off the path enough for privacy and quiet at night. We loved Monterosso and all of Cinque Terre and especially enjoyed learning how the history of the dates related to the property.
