Langdale Boulders, Ambleside, Fantastic Views

Langdale Boulders is an attractive, traditional house on the edge of the popular village of Chapel Stile. The house is in the heart of the National Park with magnificent views of The Langdale Pikes. There are endless walks and climbs from the doorstep. The property is within 5 mins walk of a variety of amenities including a well-stocked village store plus numerous places to eat and drink. Ambleside is a short bus ride/drive 4 miles away with lots of shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and 2 cinemas.
The space
1 Fir Garth has been recently refurbished with a modern, well-equipped kitchen, three King size bedrooms, three bathrooms and contemporary decor. Fir Garth has amazing views from all living spaces and bedrooms, it is situated in a great location and is a contemporary and comfortable place to stay when visiting the area.
The property has a spacious living room with views of Lingmoor Fell and the Langdale Pikes, there is a wood burner for cosy nights after a day sightseeing or on the Fells.
There is a boot room adjacent to the living room with handy cloakroom.
The modern open plan kitchen and dining area is a great place to socialise with dual aspect windows revealing stunning views of Lingmoor Fell and the Langdale valley.
Bedroom one is located on the second floor and has a panoramic bay window with spectacular views to the surrounding landscape. This bedroom has a King size oak bed, TV and an en suite shower room.
Bedroom two is located on the second floor, this is a spacious bedroom with sloping ceilings. This bedroom has a king size bed, TV and its own shower room directly outside the bedroom door.
Bedroom three is located on the ground floor with views to Lingmoor Fell and the Langdale Pikes it has a king size oak bed and TV. There is a large bathroom on the ground floor which can be for the sole use of the occupants of bedroom three.
To the rear of the property there is a private and sheltered seating area with patio, table and chairs and a raised garden with fruit trees.
Guest access
Langdale Boulders is an entire 3-bedroom private home with private access, garden and off-road parking. The private garden area belonging to 1 Fir Garth is directly outside the rear door, enclosed by Lakeland stone walls with views to the Langdale Pikes, it has mature trees and a patio area to dine or relax.
Other things to note
Langdale Boulders is a 3 storey traditional property which has many quirky features including 2 staircases plus 2 steps from the kitchen to the living room. There are 2 steps down from Bedroom 2 to its adjacent shower room.
Guests with mobility issues or small children may need to be fully aware of the character of the property and the sloped driveway (there is level access on the ground floor from the road)
There is a strict no smoking policy at the property and guests should be aware that candles are not to be used, good quality battery candles will be available for guests to use.
Please note house is not available for for parties and events.
Sorry no pets are allowed at the property.

What a lovely house...
My family and I stayed in this house for a long weekend recently and it was stunning, such a high level of finish in every room and in every possible way. Cannot say enough nice things about the place. Host responded very quickly to any messages sent too. A+

Truly stunning, both inside and out
We have been to the lakes a few times over the years but never stayed in ambleside. The directions provided got us there easily and as we got nearer we started to realise why friends had recommended the area. The property itself exceeded our expectations, which from the listing photos were already high. Its clear that Carl has left no stone unturned in the redevelopment of this traditional home. The overall finish is top quality as are all of the facilities, furniture, fixtures and fittings etc. The views down the valley are just breathtaking and we could have happily sat in the warm taking them in but made sure to take on carls suggestions of where to go for walks or food and drinks. The area has so much to offer and i feel like we only scratched the surface. We’re already making plans to head back in the summer with friends and if the dates work out we’ll 100% be staying at Langdale Boulders. 3 couples would have no issues staying here as each bedroom has its own bathroom. Thanks so much for making our stay so hassle free. Its just what we needed and look forward to doing it all again.
