Our stay went well. The staff was fantastic. The room was great. A drawback was the parking and checking in. There’s just not enough space for folks to check in if it’s busy, which it was the night we checked in. This actually made things a little unsafe as there was a round-about totally full of running cars and tired and frustrated people….but this was simply just my observance. Plus, we had to pay for parking and it was across the street. For these reasons, we would probably try and find another place in Amarillo next time with better parking and safer flow of traffic.

Nice. Parking was easy on the street but didn’t like that you could only pay for parking I. The garage across the street or valet. We ended up parking around the corner next to the event center. Street parking was only available as it was the weekend.

Upon the arrival at the hotel… it was stated that the pool and jacuzzi were inoperable and had been for a short time… was assured they would be up the next day… this turned out to be untrue because upon checkout they were inoperable and was one of our main reasons for booking the hotel. Staff was extremely rude and inattentive when it came to addressing issues. First room we were given reeked of cigarette smoke and the ceiling was falling down in the bathroom. When I went to alert the staff to the issue they made it known nothing could be done until the room was inspected… upon which maintenance did and claimed the room was in very poor order and went down to insist we be moved. Upon switching rooms at front desk I was told there are luggage carts to move myself and was offered no assistance even though bell hop moved luggage into room originally. Upon getting into the new room we noticed no bottles of water were available there were no towels in the room and the hygiene products were empty (no lotion, no body wash and shampoo went empty after one shower) Parking was a challenge and really unclear. When I asked I was told it was broken down in the elevator and thru out the hotel. When I spoke with the manager regarding the issues he was less tha. Helpful and extremely rude. This is not the experience I have come to expect from an embassy suites… and sadly will Never stay at this hotel again and recommend highly you don’t either it’s a big disappointment.

We got a nice spacious suite, great for the price. The telephone wasn't working when i tried to order room service or request shower gel. It was hard to reach the staff. The staff was helpful and the food was great once i got ahold on them.
