"Decent, clean room, a little pricy for the location. Casino is pretty smoky. We also stay in the RV park which is nice, easy to get in and out of, reasonably priced and quiet."

It's kind of in the middle of no where, but it's a good place to stay while visiting Death Valley National Park with reasonable driving distance and price.

There isn't a lot to offer in Amargosa Valley. It was not far from Death Valley NP and other than staying in the park (which was expensive) there isn't much else to choose from. Ash Meadows Natl Wildlife Refuge was very nice & right in Amargosa.

Not much around. You either go there to gamble in the casino, or for nearby work. Or, a place to stay after visiting Death Valley.
