"It's a unique little place in the heart of the Prenzlberg district of Berlin. Just a block from Schönhauser Allee S & U train station and also a block from historic Gethsemane church. "I had a very nice week at City Pension Berlin. The place is two minutes from S-bahn station Charlottenburg, which make it easy to get around in the city. My room was clean and I slept very well in a nice bed. I found the staff friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. It was a nice atmosphere there. Right next to the pension there are lots of restaurants, cafès and shops. I would come back next time in Berlin!"

"We stayed four nights in a rather spacious room. The decor and fittings is a little dated but the place is kept clean. Breakfast spread is basic with the usual bread, cereals, ham, cheese, fruits etc. The hotel is located near to Kudamm strasse the shopping belt. There are many restaurants nearby, with an Italian eatery just next door. Was quite impressed with the staff as they took the trouble to pack a simple food pack for us in the evening before our checkout as we had a very early flight to...

"A bit away from city center, but easy access by train. Looked a bit old but friendly staff. You get what you pay for. "

"I picked this hotel because it was close to Tegel airport, My flight left at 10:45 am and I had a rental car. I parked my car right in front of the hotel. BUT: they were not serving breakfast, in spite of the fact that the website said that breakfast could be bought The worst part is that they would not accept credit card payment. At the end of a trip, people are usually low on cash. I had to walk for 20 minutes each way to get to a U-tube station here I could get some money out from an ATM....

Although it’s technically classed as a private bathroom you have to unlock a side door, walk through an open hallway - with a water boiler and fire exit on the left - and then unlock the bathroom door.
