This is a special little apartment for a couple to enjoy the beautiful view from high in the hills of Amalfi, in particular the area called "Pogerola". Easy access to the Amalfi city center via a bus stop a couple hundred feet from the apartment.
Hosts are generous and kind and have completed a recent rehab for this apartment that make it incredibly clean, comfortable, and a joy to visit.
One small caveat ... some of the photos are slightly "misleading" aka have photoshopped out a street light and the electrical cables that pass right in front of the porch view out to the Mediterranean ... not the biggest deal, but not cool to hide that fact. I will emphasize, the view in spite false pics, is still incredible and stunning. I would still stay there again without hesitation and if ever heading back to Amalfi, Villa Salice will be high on my list to revisit.
Another note, the restaurants in town are amazing and to stay in Pogerola to eat lunch or dinner is not sacrificing a thing. We loved Gerry's pub for breakfast, Hostaria Acquolina for exquisite service and great grilled meats, DA BRUNO ALLA CARCARA for great pizza and finally La Capannina for great pasta and amazing desserts.
Don't think twice, Villa Salice is a great stay and nice quiet location, you will not be disappointed.
