"Got nothing but good things to stay about our stay at watermouth lodges. We arrived early and our cabin was ready, such friendly staff on reception and in the bar area. "This was our second time staying at Lynstone Lakes, and it didn't disappoint. The cabin was super clean, and had everything we needed, including a litre of milk, toilet paper and clean towels. The kitchen is really well stocked too with utensils and equipment. The location is brilliant, secluded so its quiet, but only a 15 minute walk into Bude along the road, or slightly longer along the scenic canal. "We had a great holiday, started with Andrew showing us to the log cabin to give us a quick run down of the lodge and supporting documentation, which we found really useful. Andrew then left stating if we needed any help with anything do not hesitate to call. The lodge was the cleanest and best equipped that we have ever stayed in, everything has been thought of. "The safari tent is large and well constructed. It doesn’t really feel like a tent when you are inside but has all the charm of a safari tent from the outside. The beds a comfortable and the lounge and bathroom are comfortable and clean. The wood burner is great. The veranda in the early morning and late evening is a beautiful place to just sit and relax. "At some point these would have been lovely lodges. Location isnt easy to access but the views are lovely. The lodges need an update. Furniture grubby and shabby. The cleanliness of the place is not very good. With a deep clean and some things inproves they would be a lovely place to stay."
