"The house and surroundings are fine, and we enjoyed the opportunity to swim and play in the river and walk in the mountains. The market in the next village of Sainte Croix is fun. The house was very clean. The bedrooms are OK, the downstairs room could do with some comfortable furniture. And the owner had left absolutely nothing - not even salt and pepper or a bit of vinegar and oil - for us when we arrived. "The gite was very clean and comfortable, and everything was provided that we needed. The owner, Fabien, was very helpful, before and during the holiday, offering suggestions of places to visit and telling us about the history of the region.Great hospitality was shown to us. We appreciated our visits to both local and regional venues such as Nimes,Uzes, and the Cevennes National Park, and the pool was a great asset to us on very hot afternoons.
