"Bungalows are private. Flowers and towel art every day. Great food. The garden walk and open air greenhouse was amazing and very educational. Great for families and lots of options for excursions or just relax by the pool or kayak on the river."

"This is a gem! The rooms are comfortable and clean, just as pictured. We stayed in the travelers roost; and I really like the space and distance upstairs from the other rooms. the property is very cute, and well maintained. The staff is so helpful and accommodating! I would stay here again. The only thing that is mentioned on their site is their restaurant isn’t open for dinner everyday."

"Absolutely beautiful property and grounds, you feel very immersed in nature here, and can hear howler's and bird life in about every direction. The creek below is great for a dip, and the inland blue whole is an easy 15min stroll down the road (costs 4usd per person to enter) for more swimming. Cabins are rustic but clean and tastefully decorated. As someone not used to the humidity I would have loved the option of AC, lots of fans in the cabin but they don't do much in 30 Celsius. A great experience nonetheless, and cool to hear coconuts falling on the roof and animals making noise throughout the night. Bug nets cover the beds, but bugs weren't an issue when we visited. Our kid actually had a great time with some other kids staying here catching fireflies after dinner. Which speaking of which; the food was amazing, but the staff were even better! They made the whole experience. Especially Yessica and Kenima who knew us by name and made our son feel included; showing him how to fold the napkins at dinner, pointing out cool wildlife, and offering to take him for a walk when he was at the end of his rope after a long day. It honestly felt like we were a part of the family. Wouldn't hesitate to go back again next time, just would probably opt for the room with AC :). "

"Our family of five absolutely loved our stay at the Magical Hilltop House! It is the most beautiful home and property we've stayed in. We loved the pool...there is a shallow and deep end as well as ledges you can sit on. The beds were comfortable. Lucy and Melly were very kind and helpful, and Lucy's daughter Sandy made us a delicious dinner one night. Some things I recommend are bringing your own coffee (they only had instant) and maybe bring some essential spices like salt and pepper...these things are expensive at the stores. There are small stores in the area, but we found one not too far down the road that had a lot more selection. It's called Pomona shopping mall, and it's about 10 minutes east of the house on Hummingbird Highway. We ate at Toucan Cafe, Green Hills Restaurant, and Ms. Bertha's tamales...about 10-15 minutes west of the house and had delicious food. During the day on Tuesday, an ice cream stand (ZZ's Scoop & Smiles Coffee Bar) happened to be open right next to Green Hills Restaurant...it was delicious and such a treat! On the way home from an excursion in Belmopan, we had dinner Las Palmas restaurant in Aremenia district - beautiful ambiance and delicious food! We did a couple excursions while in the jungle - Xunatunich Mayan ruins and then zip lining and cave tubing at Nohoch Che'en in one day. The other day we did the ATM cave. It was quite a drive to both, but it went by quickly because of the gorgeous views. We loved Hilltop House!"

"We had a wonderful stay in the seafront villa at Jaguar Reef. All of the staff we encountered were great. It was very nice that you were able to schedule your housekeeping anytime between 8am - 8pm as to not interrupt your day. Julio was great making sure we were well cared for, whether it was a room service order, or a maintenance request, he was responsive on WhatsApps within minutes. My husband and I enjoyed a great, relaxing 5 nights at Jaguar Reef and plan on returning again in December. This was our first time in Hopkins Belize but certainly won't be our last!"
