"I have stayed at the Am Kai 334 a few times due to work, biggest mistake I made was informing my work colleagues how convenient it was to stay there and be able to walk to our work vessel on new change day, as they started to also book rooms, leaving me to search other alternatives. The rooms are immaculately clean, and have the best showers I have ever used. The staff are very helpful and resolve any queries you may have on booking a taxi, shopping areas, local restaurants etc etc. The area is...

"Easy access via Bus 25 from Hbf, up 3 stops to Schroederplatz, and then Motel One is right there and also very close to the Kropeliner Tor and the main shopping district and old town. Although my room directly faced towards the Christmas markets and the children’s rides across the street, I barely heard the noise from my room. Breakfast buffet was fairly standard, no complaints. I do wish there was a coffee/tea maker in my room; however. Overall, good value and location."

"Vi har haft en skøn ferie med venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Huset var stille og lydsvagt. Hoveddøren var meget utæt, og det trak ind. Emhættens lys virkede ikke. Knive og sakse i køkkenet var i stykker. Vi klarede os, men det er en god ide at få lavet det. I badelandet var vandet til de små meget beskidt og meget koldt. Og der var meget klor i vandet "

"Als Familie ist es ein toller Ort, um ein paar entspannte Tage zu verbringen. Allerdings ist man wirklich auf ein Auto angewiesen, denn im nahen Ortskern gibt es außer ein paar, bei uns leider geschlossenen Geschäften nichts nennenswertes. Außerhalb der Saison ist es außerdem schwierig, Aktivitäten im näheren Umkreis zu finden. Da hilft natürlich das inkludierte Schwimmbad, das allerdings auch oft zu gut besucht ist. "Location hidden in ugly industrial zone and close to highway. Windows dirty and not sound proof. Waited 45 min to be checked in. Mold in showers, smelly carpet and toilet. Dumpster next to main entrance also spreading terrible smell. Employees friendly trying their very best. They changed brand Aug 1 from Ibis to B&B."

"Es war ein tolles Wochenende. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr modern. Das Grundstück ist traumhaft. Die einzige Kritik gilt den Betten hinter dem Wohnzimmer. Die Matratzen sind wahnsinnig teuer teuer hart."

"A very loud fire alarm went off at 4am and went on for quite a while. I was already running on the stairs when it stopped. Goodbye sleep. The following morning I was expecting some apologies but no. When I mentioned it, the guy at the reception very cheerfully said "Oh, that. Yes, there was no fire, it was just a coffee machine. But so we know that the alarm works!" Which is Mecklenburg-Vorpommern idea of sense of humour, maybe."
