I can only imagine what standard rooms are like. Toilet and bathroom are separate across the room which was not good having to go across to wash your hands after using toilet facility. "We were upgraded to a larger room but were disappointed that it did not have a shower only a hand held one over the bath. The room was however comfortable and had a great view and we appreciated the gift of biscuits but would have liked milk with the room coffee. There did not appear to be a room telephone to request this so we did not bother. Staff at reception were very friendly and breakfast was very good. Special mention goes to the waiter on the bar who made us the best off menu...

"Hotel is very charming and fantastic location. The room was extremely warm and the AC/hearing unit was difficult to use. Shower wasn’t great and the hairdryer cut out every 20 seconds and wouldn’t start again for another 5 mins. However none of this was a big deal and I would definitely recommend and stay again! "
